But, there is a different sort of buzz going on from a fan circuit often found opposing “Harry Potter”: “Twilight” fans are clamoring for Tom to play Victoria’s lackey Riley in 2010’s “Eclipse.”
Tom isn’t the first guy “Twilight” fans have latched onto for the role. First Melissa Rosenberg, screenplay scribe for “The Twilight Saga,” threw a curveball when she told E! News she pictured Channing Tatum as Riley in the epic battle at the end of “Eclipse.” Then, Evil Iguana Productions fans rampaged the comments section of the article begging for Craig Deering to be cast as the role of Riley. Tom is one in a long line of fan-favorites to play the role, but he is quickly becoming the most popular.
“Ill be ready when they want me! Really, I’m only joking. Im not really sure at this point; but you will be the first to know if I find out anything!” Tom told his fansite, Feltbeats.com. He reiterated the sentiment on his Twitter, saying, “i keep getting asked if im being cast as Riley in Twilight! Ill let you all know if so!!!”

Hmm… I kinda have a thing on him. lol. I mean, I think he’s an amazing actor and can pull the good and bad side into the same role, but he doesn’t seem much like a Riley to me… I loved Riley I thought he was a cool character even though he wasn’t in it much, and of course I love Tom very much, but the two don’t seem to mix that well in my eyes… But wether he gets it or not I’m excited! l0l

Umm, I’m not sold on this one. I have to agree with Melissa Rosenberg. I was picturing someone who looked like Channing Tatum. Maybe not him necessarily, but someone with his look…someone with strong features.

My dirst thought when I. Read this was “hell no” then I considered it…I mean, isn’t hp the movie competing against nm? Sooo…idk but then again, it might draw the hp fanbase to nm cuz there’s a hp star…he would be a good riley…I will lwt them decide and I hope that if he is cast, that he makes a good riley.

NOOOOOO! I’m with Ms. Rosenberg on this one. Channing Tatum has an innate vulnerability that Riley MUST posses! Also, he is very attractive, I can see him catching Victorias eye! Remember who her last mate was (and how sexy he was)! This guy (Tom Felton) is too scrawny to be menacing, and he looks like he can only snear. He would look silly and out of place next to Victoria, she is a force to be reckoned with and her partner must be at that level as well.
