Summit is also proud to present “The Twilight Experience,” a one-night-only special theatrical re-release of global sensation TWILIGHT, featuring an introduction by cast members. Screening tickets are $10 and can only be purchased online at Fandango (HERE) and picked up at the theater prior to the event.
Multiple staggered showings of TWILIGHT will take place at the Pacific Gaslamp 15. Doors open at 5:30 and fans with tickets will be admitted on a first come, first-seated basis. The Pacific Gaslamp 15 is located at 701 5th Ave., just a few blocks from the Convention Center.
Tickets will go on sale on Monday, 7/20 sometime between 9:00-9:30am PST and they must be picked up before Thursday, 7/23 at 1:00 PM PST. Two tickets per person limit.

Wow…this is absolutely pathetic. I can’t believe Twilight is stooping this low. I mean, merchandise is okay. But when you get to bratz and barbie dolls of Edward and Bella, it becomes evident that a lot the motivation for these things is just money. And then you read about a reopening of the film, because owning the DVD, the Deluxe Edition, if I may add, plus the movie companion and the saga guide and the director’s notebook, simply wasn’t enough to satisfy the Twilighter’s desires. Are all these extra paraphernalia really necessary? Is a reopening of the movie really necessary? Is it a true aspiration to bring Twilight lovers together….or has it just been conceived by the motives of money. I think the latter.
Why must amazing things that enter Hollywood always have to be blinded from what used to truly matter.

@*.* they’re not “RE-OPENING” twilight It’s just a one time special screening. I understand where you’re coming from but I don’t think you can say that twilight is “stooping so low” just because of a special event they are holding.
wait i dont get it can someone plz tell me what this is exactly? cuz what im getting from it is that it’s just the same movie with little videos of the cast members introducing it to u. im confused! =\ and yeah, im in CA, but not in San Diego…id have to drive a really long time to get there, but have fun guys! and i totally agree *.* even tho i still am not completely sure what it is yet. hmm, well Ash, u’ll just have to tell me about it. <3
Thanks those that agree with me. I understand that it is not a reopening and that it’s just a one-time showing, Ashley. And it’s not just this event that has me saying that Twilight is stooping so low; it’s all those other attributes out there that are hyping up Twilight to be this ‘fad’, though I hate to admit that. And I mean no offense at all when I say this. Believe me, I’ve been a Twilight fan ever since the first book came out and I have stuck with it with dedication. But when I see these barbie dolls of Edward everywhere that little girls are begging their mothers to buy for them, it makes me ashamed of what this phenomenal series has become through the media. I always encouraged my friends to read this series and now, when I hear others calling this series a ‘fad’ after the movie, I can’t help but agree. So many people out there aren’t fans b/c of the books and the profound messages within the text; they are fans b/c of the movie, the actors (especially Rob), and the merchandise. This isn’t what Twilight initially started out as; not that the movie wasn’t great or anything. But I just feel that Twilight isn’t as meaningful as it used to be.

Ditto, wish they would release something in the midwest (Minneapolis, Omaha, even Denver is a possibiity, seems like you need to live on the coast(s) to experience anything really fun!
