eclipse is my fave of the whole series and i was so looking forward to it coming out and now summit pulls this. i am not happy at all and if rachelle doesn’t play victoria in eclipse i am not only going to be disappointed i am not going to watch it or buy it on dvd when it comes out. Rachelle brought victoria to life, we need to make a petition so that summit can do something about this. i want rachelle to play victoria in eclipse. i want the movie to be just as good as the book, if not better, i want to see the reason why eclipse was my fave come to life on the screen and that is not going to happen if rachelle isn’t playing victoria. i am not happy with this decision at all, rachelle if you are reading this i want you to know that i love you and i want you to come back <3

I like Bryce Dallas Howard, but still i don’t like when actors are changed in the middle of a story line. It is also irritating how she couldn’t stick around for the last film which she is in?!?! Frustrating, i mean didn’t they know the schedual for shooting like months and months ago? HOw can she plan something over that production? Its just irritating and frustrating. But all i can ask is that i hope Bryce is good, it would be dissapointing for her to stink in this film because she really is a good actress.

I think that the new actress will be good but than again I think that it is stupid to change half way through the series. Rachelle is the Victoria we have come to know and love and it is sad to see her go. I hope this new actress can portray Victoria as well as Rachelle has.

Really, though, don’t freak out about it. The director has his own creative license and he’ll pick who he wants to play Victoria. It’s not the end of the world, guys, nor is Twilight the center of the universe. Chill.

You are ruining this series! This is a MAJOR disappointment to all of us Twilight fans! Rachelle did an AMAZING job as Victoria. What are you going to do next? WHAT IS SUMMIT THINKING!!! They already ruined the first movie by using the wrong director and now they’re going to change one of the actors in the movie that she has the biggest part in!! I think they have a death wish for themselves as far as the success of this series. Ugh!! How frustrating.

So she’s having scheduling conflicts? What is she giving up Eclpise for? I mean it looks like she’s passionate about the Twilight series. I would like to know more as to why she’s not gonna be in “Eclipse”. I’m new to this website and new to everything twilight. I actually got into it when I went to go see the movie in theaters when it came out. I actually thought the movie was awesome and everything about (especially victoria). She was badass and fell in love with her. I don’t really go into websites and leave comments and stuff but I’m pretty pissed off about hearing Rachelle not being in eclipse. I don’t care for the new actress replacing her even if she’s good cuz she’s not rachelle. On monday I had seen a twi-con thing on reelz channel and she was so excited about being in the eclipse movie and she even said she was looking forward to the fight scene, seems weird that all of a sudden she’s not gonna be in it, she’s an essentual part of eclipse and its as if u were to take kristen or rob or taylor out of the 3rd and 4th one. It might sound stupid but I’m boycotting the movies and I’m not gonna be wasting my money going to go see a movie without her in it. It really truly sux and no matter wat I’m gonna be team victoria/rachelle all the way.

This is the dumbest decision summit could’ve made!!!! Rachelle is Victoria and no one else can possibly take her place. Other people commented about this already but if you go to yahoo and type in Rachelle Lafevre you get news results about what happened. She turned down a lot of movie roles because they conflicted with eclipse!!!! That’s dedication. Summit decided to go on without her. They are overreacting about those ten days. I just read an article and it says that Rachelle didn’t even know she was going to be replaced. There was a 10 day overlap between Eclipse and her other movie. Summit decided to replace her and i think this is the biggest mistake that could ever have made. You can’t change a character in midstream. It’s going to ruin the movie.

This is the second mistake Summit has made in regards to Eclipse, the first being the hiring of a hack director, David Slade. Not only does he not have any successful movies under his belt (but rather a string of flops), but he bad-mouthed the Twilight franchise before being hired (which only proves how much of a sellout he is). Once hired he quickly backpeddled and tried to say he was joking. Looks to me like Summit is trying to sabotage ECLIPSE…

No, this is terrible! Rachelle was brilliant! She was one of the few characters I think they got on point with casting. And she was also one of the few cast members that actually had a good personality! This really sucks and I’m quite upset about this. Eclipse will fail now in my opinion.

Lefevre Mounting Legal Battle With Twilight Bosses Over Pay

Twilight actress Rachelle Lefevre is preparing to take movie bosses to court in a dispute over pay following her dismissal from the vampire film franchise.

The redhead, who plays villainous vampire Victoria in the box office smash and its upcoming sequel New Moon, was left “stunned” and “deeply hurt” when studio executives at Summit Entertainment announced she was being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for the third film, Eclipse.

Producers claimed Lefevre failed to tell them in advance that she had signed up to star in independent movie Barney’s Version and that shooting on the project would overlap with production on Eclipse.

Explaining their decision earlier this week, they said, “Ms. Lefevre took a role in the other film that places her in Europe during the required rehearsal time, and at least ten days of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’s principal photography. This period is essential for both rehearsal time with the cast, and for filming at key locations that are only available during the initial part of production.”

Now the fall out is about to turn ugly – Lefevre has called in her lawyers to secure the salary she was due to receive for the third installment of the Twilight films, citing breach of contract.

She alleges her agreement with Summit Entertainment allows her to pursue small independent films while still being involved in the vampire franchise.

One source tells Eonline’s Marc Malkin, “Rachelle’s contract says she’s allowed to do smaller projects like Barney’s Version.”

But studio bosses are claiming otherwise and insist Lefevre is owed nothing.
