I admit, i didn’t like the idea of replacing rachelle…that was until i found out who was replacing her. My cousin!yay! if it were basicly anyone else, i wouldnt like it though.

You guys need to chill! It’s just a movie. Bad decisions were made, but i can assure you that Bryce will do great as the part. And they are replacing Chris too, that’s not because of them personally, it’s budget problems.
you can’t forget, make up artists can make her have make up so she looks exactly like Rachel, so those who dont know, may not notice.

In the meantime I support Rachelle, and I won’t be going to see any other Summit movies, plain and simple. This is just another case of a studio bullying an actor and looking out for the bottom line, as if they didn’t make a killing w/ Twilight. I’m still not over the fact that they replaced Catherine. All you twi-girls SHOULD be supporting a female director as they are few and far between in H-wood. She did a wonderful job considering the budget, the weather anomalies, and the level of talent with which she had to work.

Summit didn’t even give her the chance to drop the indie. They just fired her once they were told of the production overlap. Remember Victoria is only in ONE scene. They could have filmed around her schedule, just as they did Cam’s. Remember they filmed the fight and baseball scenes first to accomodate him. This IS grounds for a breach of contract suit, it will just be interesting to see who wins as both parties have grounds to sue the other. None of us knows what stipulations are in that contract, so we’ll see.

I wonder if this has any thing to do with favors……… Bryce Dallas Howard is Ron Howard’s daughter. Is it a coincidence that she is the one who is replacing Rachelle?
I don’t think that Rachelle would be stupid enough to turn her back on the Twilight franchise for some indy movie. It seems like Summit was looking for a reason to get rid of her.
I don’t recall Bryce being so memorable in the Village and Lady in the Water.

IM GETTING SO TIRED OF PEOPLE BASHING BRYCE JSUT BECAUSE THEIR FAVORITE THREW COMPLETE BS AT SUMMIT AND THAT THEY DEFEND HER FOR IT! SHE SKREWED UP MAJOR, AND THIS VERY WELL MIGHT (AS IT SHOULD) RUIN HER UNPROFESIONAL CAREER.
I USE TO LIKE RACHELLE TOO, I THOUGHT HER AND ASHLEY GREENE WERE ONE OF THE FEW WHO WERE REAL PEOPLE, BUT NOW SHE PULLS SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND I JUST GO ‘WOW’. PEOPLE DONT PROVE WHO THEY ARE INTIL THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THEIR TRUE SELVES, WELL SHE CAN NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS.

IM 100% ALL FOR BRYCE, I LOVE HER SHES AWESOME, AND SHES GOING TO BE THE BEST VICTORIA YOU’VE EVER SEEN I GARENTEE YOU!

So there all you ppl crying for Rachelle and bashing SUMMIT for her mistake . lol

Re-cast Victoria?! The producers are in for a big surprise if they think the fans will support this. It’s not like replacing James Bond or Inspector Clouseau, you corporate morons!!!!
