Words on the street that “Frost/Nixon” star Michael Sheen is joining “Tron Legacy” have been proven to be a true one. Walt Disney Pictures has confirmed that the 40-year-old BAFTA-nominated actor has officially become a part of the “Tron” sequel’s cast ensemble via Twitter on Wednesday, July 29.
In a response to a confirmation plea made by fansite Michael Sheen Online, the studio tweeted, “Yes, Michael Sheen will have a role in Tron Legacy!” Although coming out with such answer, the mouse house didn’t go on further on detailing what character the actor will tackle in the movie. Hence, it is still unclear whether Sheen will be the villain as what has been suggested earlier.

Sorry I didn’t know he was in the New Moon. I only knew he was not in Twilight. When I went to one of his web sites, to see what his involvement in the saga was, it doesn’t mention anything about New Moon. But it is good that he has gotten another role.
