Although there was a lot of fun to be had at TwiCon over the weekend, there was an elephant in the room few celebrities would address. While Twilighters took sides and spoke passionately about the recent replacement of Rachelle Lefevre as evil vampire Victoria for the third installment of the “Twilight” series, some of the saga’s stars refused to answer questions on the controversial matter — for understandable reasons.
A pair of high-profile stars who began the mega-franchise with Lefevre, however, did agree to speak with us on the record. And they were eager to say that they’ve spent the last few days sharing one key emotion with their fans: sadness.

I’m really sad that a continuity with actors couldn’t be kept throughout the entire series, but thats just how things work in this industry.
I really liked Rachelle from the start, I thought she was something fresh for the camera, even though I hate to say it she DID screw up, costing her role. It’s a total bummer she lost it, but she needs to except her actions and we all need to move on. Going to miss her for sure.
Bryce Dallas Howard: She is talented, professional, goregous, and experianced and that is a garentee that she will play Victoria well. I know a lot of the fans are having a good old time bashing the new girl, but hey, she’s part of the Twilight saga now too, wether you like it or not.
I personally love her and she has a respectable acting career past, and its sad the Rachelle’s is going to get ruined for this uncalled for mishap.
I am going to give Bryce my 100% support and now I am a gazzilion more times excited to see Eclipse just for her!

Ok, if you watch this video…click on the one with Jackson Rathbone talking about Rachelle. In it he says he is sorry they won’t be working together in the “final film of the franchise”…..I thought they were filming Breaking Dawn?????
I’m mad that Summit replaced her over 10 days. I’m sorry if anyone is on Summit’s side, but I think they’re idiots who are only concerned with covering their asses, not that I believe everything Rachelle says either.
of course they’re not going to answer questions about rachelle. they want to keep their job, but their also really close to rachelle. it sucks.
