The actors that will portray Leah & Seth Clearwater were announced in the press release earlier today.
Julia Jones (IMDb HERE) will be Leah and BooBoo Stewart (IMDb HERE) will be Seth. Both have starred in TV & film projects that aren’t really well known.

What I wanna know is why Leah and Seth turned out to be people already semi-established in the acting world. Um, didn’t they have an online open casting call? They didn’t find ANYONE unknown, for either of them? I find that hard to believe; what I’m believing now is that that was just some sort of publicity stunt….
I…can’t say I’m happy with the casting director’s choices, but it could have been worse.
We’ll have to see how it turns out…
i think leah is perfect cuz she looks like she could act as a beotch and like not put up with any crap from the other wolves haha. and seth is really adorable but he’s so youngin and ASIAN. haha.
I’m chill. I’m perfectly happy with the choices. Apologies if I came off hot-headed. I just think people need to understand that these two actors DID audition so the choice is ALSO based on their talent.
Everybody should just cool it ’til they see them in action. It’ll be perfect. A lot of people didn’t think Taylor could pull it off and look at that boy GO! He’s done phenomenal!
So basically – Just wait and see before you judge they’re ability based on their looks. Makes sense, right? Good. ^_^

I am team seth and leah! but i dont know that summit picked bobo acting as seth as a good pick…mabye its just me, but im a little disapointed in it, he dosent even looke native-american.
I think that was a good pick for leah though! Exactly how i imagened her.

No and no. Julia is too old. Bobo or booboo is too asian looking. I mean how would they feel if native played asians..wouldn’t work and THIS won’t work. AND…they wre already established in the industry, the casting directors didn’t push hard enough to find a unknown face for either roles. I”m disappointed in Rene Haynes. AND one more thing. The wolfpack and any native extras had to ‘prove’ they were native…these two didn’t…what a let down over all for me and so many others…*sigh*…so the stereotype continues….:c(
I agree with the comments that she is too old…she is gorgeous though. As for him…again, I agree with the people that say he looks Asian. Very good looking guy, but not Native American looking enough for me.
if u look at booboo now he looks a lot like what seth should look like. and i think that his REAL sister ,meagan, looks more like what i think leah should look like. its true so if they could just use meagan,booboo’s real sister,as leah it would be great. because the other chic looks rely bad…not her she is pretty but not ‘leah pretty’ if you google meagan stewart & booboo stewart look at there most resent pictures and you’ll see what i mean.
