MTV talk about the New Moon trailer and some of the missing elements they think could have been included.
Shirtless Taylor Lautner? In-costume Dakota Fanning? Strung-out-looking Robert Pattinson? Check, check and check. But although the “New Moon” trailer entitled “Meet Jacob Black” gave us plenty of fun things to look at — again, and again, and again — it also continued to omit plenty.
Depending on your point of view, the two “New Moon” trailers have either held back all the best stuff or done a good job of giving us glimpses at just enough to get our butts in theater seats. But at the risk of paraphrasing Veruca Salt: We want it all, and we want it now! Here’s our list of the Top Five Things We Still Need to See From “New Moon.”

this is totally true. especially the one about Quil. there hasnt been anything about him at all!! not even on twilighters! its so weird how we all got so psyched cuz they finally cast him, but then he just disappears into thin air. o well, i guess life’s like that.
that jacob and bella kiss thing just irks me but im glad edward -blank-blocks and calls so they cant kiss

@ alicehc, i totally agree with you, i just hope the phone rings before they kiss in the movie because if they do kiss, thats totally goping to mess up eclipse.
and about that list, im pretty sure they’ll have it in the movie. their just giving us enough in the trailers to get the fans excited and pumped for the whole thing.

@alicehc & jacqueline, NO WAY!!! it makes me sooo happy to see jake and bella together. its like the best feeling in the world. i mean, i know that edward of course was the one who deserved bella anyway, but i cant help imagining….and i know, the phone rings and then messes their kiss up which SUCKS cuz we have to wait till eclipse to see them kiss. but im excited for his scene anyway.

I love the trailer as much as the next but you guys do realize we are not watching the movie here! They cant put everything in it, save some of the wonder for the theater!

i love this series and twilight definitely wasn’t a dissapointment so i expect new moon to be just as great and based on the trailers i think…scratch that…KNOW it will be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The trailer met every one of my expectations. I know, you all are really mad about the whole Jake-Bella kiss. They were about to kiss, but then “Carlisle” calls. So, sweet relief, the punch humor is still on!
Taylor Lautner did a great job! He did most of the stunts himself. In the ‘Meet Jacob Black’ trailer, when he launches himself into the window, that was artificial NOTHING. He did that himself. Pretty cool, huh? He has to be the most dedicated Jacob ever! How often do you find an actor that looks like Jacob Black the Character and just packed on 30 lbs. of muscle, does his own stunts, and happens to about the appropriate age? The only thing he lacks is 6ft and 7in total!
taylor’s fine with the jacob portrayal but for me his voice is not right. there something odd about his voice that kinda makes it hard for me to imagine he’s a werewolf.
