I’m really glad Twilight-Eclipse are getting made into movies, and when I heard about Breaking Dawn being made into one I was against it but whatever I mean it is part of the series whether I liked it or not. And I’m guessing that BD will be a two parter if this is true, but really?! BD was filled with a lot of cheesy and super unrealistic stuff, believe me I have a list, and I just hope this isnt proof they are going to fit all of it into the coming movie(s).
Twilight (series) is great, love it and it will always be one of those series that you’ll always remember reading until the early hours in the morning suppose to be asleep, but everyone I know thats read it has grown out of it the past year since the movie came out. Sad yeah but it’s just how things like this go when the movies come along.

Soooo it is possible they’re pulling an HP move by splitting up Breaking Dawn…well, whatever they decide to do, nothing we can do. It can be good or bad. And I agree with 34, I hope they don’t make it cheesy-like. Hopefully it isn’t going PG, because I’ve heard it is and isn’t, because they should make it more “mature.” In my opinion, of course.

They need to make it more mature. The majority of the fan base is teenagers, and younger, so would you really make it so graphic?

If they do split breaking dawn, it will probably be at the end of Book Jacob. Very end. And then they’ll expand on Book 3, Bella, which will be the fifth movie.

Sarah, I think you imagined Seth with blond hair because when Bella describes Seth as a wolf, his color is sandy brown. I think I thought that too, even though if he’s Native American, he’s more likely to have dark hair!

The only reason younger kids are attracted is because of the casts’ looks, or if they’re real young, copying their older siblings, ya know? Although there were parts in BD that were cheesy, I thought it was mature at parts, too, and should stay true to it. I’m not saying to make it like a porn or anything, lmao, just more teenage-young adult directed. Besides, younger kids these days do those “things,” lmao.

i can dig five…BD needs to be a two-parter. i also agree with many others, that no way should it be rated PG-13…but then again, twilight has captured throngs of teeny boppers…not that theres anything wrong with that, but even reading BD gives me the sense that it was written for a mature crowd…hopefully i didnt just contradict myself!

i actually ready on an audition website that they were going to make Breaking Dawn into THREE different parts (like the book).. I think that’s a bit outrageous.. Two parts seems perfectly fine, but three is pushing it to me.. But i’m not sure if the three part is true but it seems possible to me.. i guess we’ll wait and see..

oh and they said they would have to change a lot of things because if they do the honeymoon part and the birthing part like described in the book, the movie would be rated “R” (and again this came from and audition website)..

Wtf, rated R? Are you for real? The honeymoon/birthing can be PG-13, if they do it right. There’s no way it can be R. There are things that don’t have to be exaggerated in the birthing, lmao. They can totally make all that PG-13. R is ridiculous

Oh, and three parts is ridiculous, too. I mean, Part 1 isn’t even that long. Part 2 is rather long, but they can put 1 & 2 together, I think.

PG 13 can be done.. and it’s not like stephanie goes into details about the sex scenes.. she doesnt even give any details, so i don’t know what the problem would be with the honeymoon and the only thing that i think could be extremely graphic in the birthing scene is when the baby comes out and edward bites bella all over.. but i hope whatever they do turns out really well because i love this series lol

5 films? that’s just ridiculous… there’s not enough content in BD to make 2 films out of it, i mean come on!!!! it’s barely a book at all!

I always find it funny when people say they don’t like BD. I liked it! Maybe it’s because I’m married with a baby girl. Bella and Edward have to deal with a more grown up reality in this book and it reaches me. I don’t know, but I’m glad they will make 2 movies out of it!

cuz like…the book wasnt bad at all. It never went into details…like at all. It would do like just what the book did. Like, start with them out in the water talking…then like skip to the scene in the bed covered in blankets and feathers
but like, I really dont think it would be R at all. Because the book wasnt like Rish at all or anything.

1) Twilight has alot of young teenage fans, so that would be totally unfair to them…and
2) it’s not that graphic, save the whole birthing. I have faith in the good Producers of all things Twilight- Related. I hope. *crosses fingers*

I hope that BD won’t be R rated, cuz the younger fans out there won’t be allowed to see it, and the parts in SM’s book where Edward and Bella had sex were very tastefully done, so I hope they keep that. I will keep my faith in the hands of SM and Summit in the hope that they don’t muck things up too much. But they still need to earn my trust back after the thing with Rachelle…..

well I have heard about this rumor before but I feel like it maybe risky to make BD a two-parter just because the story moved quite slow esp. when they were supposed to have this big fight that did not happen in the end. IDK, I hope they get the right director and a great script…

for now, i’ll just cross my fingers and hope that summit make the right decision…

rofl yeah i know that its going to have unrealistic stuff, and in the sense of vampires and werewolves its all pretty cool. And the only cheesy stuff really is in BD when it comes down to Bella getting knocked up by a overprotective bf (sooooo urealistic in so many ways)
bella sipping out of a blood cup (her body would vomit before the blood got to her stomach, the human body rejects it even if you have a vamp in your stomach),
the whole Renesmee thing seemed a little forced,
the entire book’s plot kept building up to something and then NOTHING happened and it was the most boring read.
Thats just a FEW of the main things. Its not that the vamps and wolves are the thing that screwed it up, its the poor plotting of a overworked idea.

i think that they shouldn’t worry about the “younger crowd” cause if they are worrying about who they have appealed to, then sorry to let you know, but it all ages!! they can’t completely change what Stephanie Myrer wrote, just to make the rating go down. the book is more mature, and the movie should be to! the “younger crowd” have parents, and the parents can decide what they want their kids to see! summit needs to think about that if they haven’t already!!!
