There’s something… strange about the way you two are together. The way he watches you — it’s so… protective. Like he’s about to throw himself in front of a bullet to save you or something. — Renée Dwyer, Eclipse | Chapter 3

Talk of 5th Twilight Saga Movie Was Premature

Booboo Stewart (Seth) mentioned a 5th Twilight Saga film in an Access Hollywood interview we posted yesterday. Summit has spoken to Access Hollywood and says that this is not set in stone:

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — New “Eclipse” cast member BooBoo Stewart sent the Twi-hards into a frenzy on Friday when he told Access Hollywood there would be two more movies in the “Twilight Saga” after the third chapter, “Eclipse.”

However, a rep for Summit Entertainment – the studio behind the hit vampire film franchise – has now told Access that BooBoo (who will join the big screen saga as wolfpack member Seth Clearwater in the next installment) was premature in his statements.

“We appreciate our young actor’s enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate,” the Summit rep said in a statement to Access.

Although BooBoo has contract options for additional films after “Eclipse,” there are no guarantees yet that those films will be made.

obviously it was premature. boo boo has not even started filming. he shouldn’t have made any comments about breaking dawn until he knew the full details. but hey, the kids like what 15?? it doesn’t matter, i didnt take boo boo seriously. but i really would have loved breaking dawn to be made into two movies

  • Bella Marie Cullen:

    I agree with Jacqueline.

  • Lily:

5 movies or not I still can’t wait. And although nothing is “set in stone” I think there is still a good chance the 5 movies will happen. Even Stephenie Meyer has said on her website that she would want BD to be split up if it was going to be a movie. Only a matter of time before we fnd out. Ugh but I do hate waiting…

  • Biiah Cullen:

Perfect I love everythink is perfct…
5 movies are better thanthey done a short version of Breaking Dawn

  • TAYLORLAUTNERLOVER:

Poor Boo Boo. *lip trembles* Bad start. But I hope there are 5 movies! It would be the shizz if BD was 2 parts!

  • TwiMom1:

Make it two films! I would LOVE to see that happen!

  • I figured that the movie ideas weren’t set in stone, lmao. Although they did officially say they’ll do Breaking Dawn, they can easily scrape it. But they should make Breaking Dawn a two-parter, not a three.

Poor Boo Boo, hope they’re not too upset with him already.

  • emily:

WHEN DID HE SAY THAT?!?!? i keep listening to the video but he never mentions that O-o. I think I’m deaf

  • Cali:

@Emily, ur not deaf, unless we both r :\ i listened to it multiple times and didnt catch him mentioning that. but anyway, i really wish that BD would be made into two movies; the first would be “Book One: Bella” and “Book 2: Jacob”. the second movie would just be “Book 3″ in Bell’s perspective, b/c its so much longer and has a ton of info. one BD movie would simply be wayyy too long, unless they cut a bunch of scenes which they totally SHOULDNT do. that would ruin it. so do y’all see where im goin with this??

  • erin:

I hate the name “Boo Boo”.

  • erin:

PS– I think he’ll seriously regret ever having people call him that in a couple years.

  • Lily:

ERIN I kinda agree with you. I’m all for originality but I seriously don’t get why he changed his name to Booboo. His birth name was Nils Allen Stewart Jr. according to IMDB. Maybe he wanted a stage name different from his father? (I’m not trying 2 judge I’m just really curious about the back story to it.)

  • haha, I get that he’ll probably regret being called “Boo Boo.” Hopefully he’ll want to go by Allen or something, lol. Btw, @Cali, I get whatcha sayin’. ;)

  • meyh:

i really hope breaking dawn will become a movie.. kinda excited about it haha.. anyway, Booboo is just a kid.. give him some credit. i actually like his personality.. he’s like jacob haha.

  • jennifer:

Why would you want someone to call you Boo-boo. Beside that i think he will make a good Seth.

  • Bella Marie Cullen:

I agree with everyone! Haha I feel bad for BooBoo. He, of course, shouldn’t speak without having facts, but he didn’t know. Poor guy. And I agree with Erin. He’s gonna regret in the long run that everyone is calling him that. We’ll just have to see what happens. :)

  • Lauren:

I agree about Boo boo’s name. I don’t agree about BD being made into 2 films.. the book was anticlimatic as it is, without isolating the last part: the “battle”… it would be a very bad ending to the series.. plus, I’m thinking they could easily fit BD into a 2 hr movie.

  • J.Carla:

With that statement, I’d be pretty embarrassed if I was Boo Boo. But I think that there is going to be 2 movies after Eclipse. Didn’t they say earlier this year that Breaking Dawn may be broken into 2 films? So wouldn’t that make Boo Boo pretty much correct?

  • bella:

y’d he say that in the 1st place if it was premature???????

  • Has anyone heard if the are actually going to shoot the Jacksonville scene in Jacksonville? That’s where I live and let me tell you, I would drop my life to try and get a glimps!! :)

  • renee':

seriously…why does Summit insist on trying to make it look like they wont be doing BD?
and about the whole broken into 2 parts things, smart move. Twilight ALONE was two hours and we ALL witnessed how much stuff Catherine left out. I would hate to see anything from BD left out for sake of “time.” to me, too many things from BD were essential.

  • Anonymous:

i actually hope they make two movies for breaking dawn, a lot happens in it and its a big book so you don’t want anything missing out in one small cut movie. the only bad thing is that it means we have to wait longer to see the whole book come to life. =[

By the way, Boo Boo- he looks great, Seth has always been one of my favorite wolves, hes just awesome. another lil Jacob, lets just hope he imprints on me =]

  • kim:

I agree with Lauren. BD could be one movie, and as for the fifth moive, i think it should continue the series. At the end of Breaking Dawn it talks about how the Volturi wont give up and will still be coming after them, getting them one by one. And it also talked about how Jacob will be having competition for renesmee, but they didnt mention the guys name from what i remember. if they have a moive as Renesmee full grown, it woiuld be awesomee. :)

Also Stephenie Meyer is writing the series in Ewards point of view so it could also be on that..

    Interestingg.. :o

  • michelle:

I loved the new trailer 3 released at vma’s it was simply awesome. I can’t wait for New Moon it will be worth the wait am sure..

  • abbby reyes:

    TWILIGHSAGA

  • OMG!!!!! i freaking LOVE twilight!!!!!

  • karla:

OMG! The movie waz SO freakin’ good! Jake is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT! I didnt know they would maybe split the movie in half. It would be cool if they split it into 3. Bella, Jacob, Bella.

  • meagan:
