And just saying, a lot of people dont like her because she turned down Victoria in Twilight because the roll wasn’t big enough. When you in this industry, especially in a economic time, you want really good roles. She wasn’t sure if twilight was going to be a hit, and technically it wasn’ the most well made movie and I’m sure its low budget had her questioning it.
Its not Bryce’s fault! Rachelle screwed up, and Bryce was DECENT enough to take the part so the franchinse wouldn’t suffer from something horrible

I agree that Rachelle screwed herself and us fans, and for reasons apparently known to herself. But I don’t think it was decency that had Bryce Dallas Howard step in as Victoria – more like the fact that she can’t act and was therefore available to fill the part. I’ve seen her in her previous films, and she just doesn’t have her father’s talent, of whom I am a fan. Summit made do with what they could given the exigent circumstances, and we all now have to live with Rachelle’s and Summit’s unfortunate choices. It doesn’t mean we all have to like it, but it is what it is.
@ANNACASSIDY: just for conversation sake, Bryce’s acting ability is subjectable, but need we even mention KStew’s or RPatz’s?! She beats them by miles. And in Bryce’s last film, she got to work with some really amazing actors and she said somewhere that she learned a lot from them. She’s gonna pull it off.
Love the firey red hair, hopefully they show the scene of her in the distance swimming and Bella doesn’t know it…

Rachelle WAS replaced becuase of her schedule. YES, many actors film things at the same time, with the proper comunication and lots of time to plan for filming dates to flow for both movies.
Rachelle didn’t tell SUMMIT of her extra movie till two weeks before filming ECLIPSE, and did not give the proper comunication or TIME for SUMMIT and the other company to co-exist the times, which for SUMMIT’s dates were required and set filming and rehersal dates that Rachelle did not comply with.
Hey, Rachelle could have choosen Eclipse over her other movie, but I guess she decided to stick with the other one.
It’s not Bryce’s fault. Its Rachelle’s and poor planning.
Be glad Bryce was willing to take the part, or we might have gotten something realllllly crummy.

Well, I guess Summit didn’t listen to the fans. They never do, if they did Rob Pattinson wouldn’t even be in the series. And nobody wants that. So I guess we have to trust the studio. I think she will do a great job. I would prefer Rachelle to bring her role to a close, but I’ll try to accept Bryce, because she is a great actress.

The hair looks great but he body looks horrible in the outfit. Rachelle did not mess up at all. Her contract allowed her time off for small projects. She was asking for 10 days – that is a short project. Bryce just relized she made a mistake and went crawling back to Summit – I’m sure her daddy helped.

10 days changes a entire movie production shoot. When a time is set, the actors have to comply or they get the boot as shown. She so screwed it.

Angela & Cali, In the book, Victoria is using Riley and Edward even says to Riley that she is using him, and that every kiss was just a way to manipulate him, if I remember correctly. Bryce doesnt look bad, maybe she will do a good job. We should all give her a chance, besides, we all have our own character in our heads from reading the books before the movies even came out, so its not so bad. By the way,…..A DILDO!!!! Rachelle is 10 times sexier and younger looking. The part of Victoria fit Rachelle like a glove. This woman Bryce was offered the part as Victoria’s part in the beginning and she did not want it. I guess the part was too small for her ego in Twilight. Well, now with the success of Twilight and daddy’s help, she ousted out Rachelle for the bigger part that Rachelle should have had. I am glad Edward finishes her off in “Eclipse”. When its all said and done Victoria’s role will always belong to Rachelle.
