I am 42 and am obsessed with the series also! I was in my last year of college when my son and daughter read the books and I resisted reading until I graduated in May. Good thing too because I could not put them down! I read the entire series in a week and have no re-read them an additional two times. I scan the Twilight websites weekly for information and expect I will be reading the books again soon! And I have NEVER read a book two times ... that is how good this love story is!

I think its great to see a 'fan of the week' that's past their 'tween-teen' age frame! (no offence to you wee ones, I remember being that age and being ENTHRALLED in certain books and movies, and I think it's great!) I started reading the Twilight books a while ago during my downtime as a nurse on night shifts... it didn't take long for some of my much older co-workers to start asking questions about those eye-catching book covers. I'm happy to say I've gotten some 50+yr old women hooked on this heart-fluttering love story! We can't watch the movie at work, but we relive it frequently by playing the Soundtrack on our little CD-player at our nursing station when all our patients are safely tucked in for the night! Its great to have co-workers to be able to discuss twi-rumors and the upcoming twi-movies!
Way to be Crystal! You take the shame right out of being an older Twilight addict!

Don't forget Twilight dads. My 19 yr old daughter brought the DVD home earlier this year and I watched it twice that first night. Since then I have read the first book and watched the movie more than 30 times. I want to see New Moon before I read that book. It's hard to wait. By the way, I also have a teen son, am married, and I'm 47. Age doesn't matter once Twilight gets a hold on you. It's that good in my opinion. Very original.

It does not matter about your age, you are as old as you want to be. I am 29 and yes I Love Twilight, I have read all 4 books about 10 times this year along. The movie I watch all the time, can't wait for NEW MOON!! All I have to say is Read, Watch, and Repeat.

I work at Borders running the young adult section, which I love dearly. I'm a retired teacher (58), and am addicted to Twilight. I run all of our Twilight parties and have a blast. I've even developed a Power Point trivia presentation with buzzers and everything. I even presented it at a local science fiction convention. Everyone loves it! My kids get a kick because I shop at Hot Topic for Twilight items. I ran into a young lady at a local store and she looked at me and exclaimed "Oh, you're the Twilight Lady at Borders!" My boss that that was cool! I've read the books numerous times, have them on my iPod and my eBook. When people come in to the store to discuss Twilight or to see what we have new in Twilight, they head straight for me. I love having a job where I can wear my Twilight garb and jewelry (I have 6 Twilight watches!) What I find that is so awesome is that women who hadn't read in years are reading Twiight and are continuing to read. Teens who weren't readers are doing the same. Thank you, Stephenie Meyer! (Any chance you could write Esme and Carlisle's story? hint, hint!) Thank you Twilighters.org for a fantastic website. I recommend it to all my customers!
