I never really was interested in the Twilight series, after reading the first chapter of Twilight I got really bored of it (yea it sounds bad). But when I found out that it was becoming a movie series I was very interested but not interested to read the books just yet. I first watched the movie Twilight and fell in love with the movie, but soon after I heard a lot of my friends say that the movie was all wrong from the book. It made me really curious about what they were all talking about, so I gave in to my curiousity and read the book. And guess what happened…..I fell hard in love with the book more than the movie I watched. I couldnt put the book down and I kept on reading and reading and soon after about five days I was done with book number one. The fobidden love made me want to find a guy like Edward Cullen, the fact that vampires were part of the stories made me wonder about the world today and all the legends that actually might be true. What made me really fall in love with the book was the main characters, Edward and Bella, how love can be shown in ways that leave other people in awe. I soon found myself wanting, no, craving to read more about their love and adventures. I finaly got my hands around the second book, New Moon, and saw that i was both mad and shocked that Edward left Bella, but every touched that Jacob could hold Bella together. The Volturi at the end of the book made me very scared that Edward would go to such lengths to kill himself. Each book took me less than a week to read and by the end of December I saw that I finished the whole series. I begged my parents to get the books for me and now I have all of them, reading each book three or four more times (I dont know I lost count). I even read Midnight Sun the same amount of times, oh how I wish Stephenie Meyer would finish it and publish it. How she wrote everything from Edwards point of view cleared up many things from the book Twilight, how he saw Bella, how he felt about her, and how long hes been so lonely until he found her. I feel that out of everyone I know here, I am the biggest Twilight series fan out there. I have twilight on my walls and on my desktop, and I watch the DVD often. I just adore the Twilight series and all the love and family and danger and drama in the books and movies coming. My favorite book of all is Breaking Dawn where we finally see Bella’s new life come fourth and see that she shines like the brightest star as a vampire, no, as a Cullen. Being a Twilight fan doesnt mean that you know everything about the books and movies, its how you see each character the way Stephenie wants you to see them, how you can relate to a different character, how you can feel the way they feel. This is how I feel a true fan is and I could say I am a true fan, but thats only what I think.

to be a twilitghter you shouldn’t fall in love with the film first because fellow twilighters don’t know if you love edward and bella or rob and kristen you are a fake soz but that is what i think a real twilighter would love the book because that is how it began

Loreece, that is a *beautiful and very mature interpretation of Twilight. I can tell that your TRUE love and devotion to the Series was developed through the books, not the movie. And truthfully, it shouldn’t matter HOW you came about discovering Twilight. It’s about how you feel while you’re devouring the books, and about how you feel about love & life afterwards. Chill out twilight4ever there’s no reason you can’t see the movie first then love the books. Also, a true fan knows how to spell “twilighter”, unlike you who spelled it “twilitghter “. I agree with LUXX013, Loreece you are a true twilighter and I’m happy you are the fan of the week.

ok you know what i really like what she said and iam a freak for twilight and i get really mad when people call it gaylight just because people are fans but they dont see past hot vampires and raging fans twilight is soposto be about true love and pushing past bounderys and looks to getting to know the real person inside for example edward thinks hes evil but bella sees past that and knows edward ist this monster he thinks he is.Edward and Bella would do antthing and everything for each other so she is a true fan in my book

too cool! I love Twilight as much as you and probable always will. I will be live 75 and telling my grandchildren to read it but by then we will probably have books that can read themselfes or something like that! (I’m only 14 but the wayy ) lol! Anyway if you are really craving more twilight I know this awsome site you can go to get more! ok, first you go to http://www.thetwilightsaga.com It is easy to sign up and free! Anyway, the point there is this amazing person who is writing the next book! It’s not being published but she sounds just like Stephenie Meyer! I fell hard for this womans book! Edward is just like Edward,(mabey more handsome if thats possible !!) Bella is just like Bella, Emmett is even BETTER than Emmett (funnier) and so on. The book is called Indian Summer and it is soooooo good. I was dying for a book to read! I kept going to the book store but nothing caught my eye but the big Twilight display! lol. I found myself buying Twilight AGAIN because my first book was mangled from reading it 6 times. I also foung myself always wandering back to the romance/vampire section it the store, but I know that no book will ever replace Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight! Anywho,,, I really think you Fanpires should check it out and give her a chance because she ROCKS!!! Her name is Tami and again the book is ‘Indian Summer’ and it takes place 2 years after Nessie is born! You can also search me up and I will gladly help you find her! One of the reasons why so many people hate twilighters (especially HP fans) is because a lot of the new fans only read it because of the film (which sucks btw).

I think I felt so protective of Loreece cuz she never once mentioned Robert, or how hot Taylor is, or “that part in the movie when ….” She really dug into the soul of the books and seems to be a devoted fan of the world Stephenie created. Don’t get me wrong, I *totally see where you’re coming from LOL. I think that the die-hard fans are fans of the books, above and beyond all else. I just think there are a handful of people who were meant to read the Series, but unfortunately just didn’t know about Steph until the movie came out. I appreciate the fact that you’re trying to keep Twilighters.org sacred, cuz that’s what makes this site what it is. Mad vampire love to you all … Luxx

i hadnt heard of twilight until i saw the movie. when i read the book there were alot of changes and i like the books better. twilight is awesome though i love it!!!

but i do love edward and bella and jacob
they may be played by hot actors but the characters are what i love the most
