Jen from the TwilightLexicon got the chance to interview Gil Birmingham (Billy Black) about his music.

Q: What are the inspirations for your lyrics and music?

My music comes from the emotional place I’m in when I write it. It’s an outpouring of the soul of those emotions through the guitar.

What genre does your music generally fit into?

My music is classic rock and blues for the most part.

The interview also includes an MP3 of his original guitar solo called “A Walk in the Park.” Read it all HERE!

I vividly remembered the flat black color of his eyes the last time he’d glared at me — the color was striking against the background of his pale skin and his auburn hair. Today, his eyes were a completely different color: a strange ocher, darker than butterscotch, but with the same golden tone. — Bella Swan, Twilight | Chapter 2
