Fan of the Week: Sept 28 – Oct 4, 2009

Name: Johanne K Ilje
Age: 18
Country: Norway
Twilighter since? January 2009The 17th of January, I was visiting a very good friend of mine, and I saw four black books standing upright on her desk. I asked her what it was about, and she told me about a wonderful world full of mythical creatures and enthralling love. I was instantly intrigued and asked her to lend me the books. And so it was done. I was addicted.
– I read the whole saga in under a week, and during that week it was ALL I could think of (now I can think of other things as well).
– I have seen the movie alarmingly many times, and have actually watched the movie 3 times during 24 hours.
– I have lost count on how many times I have read the Twilight saga, but I know it’s more than 8.
— Since January there hasn’t been 3 days without me reading one of Stephenie’s books (the only time I didn’t read the Twilight-series was that one time when I read the Host).
– I adopt Bella’s state of mind in real life when reading the books (for example, during the time I’m reading New Moon, my friends will notice me being down and almost zombie-like).
– After reading New Moon for the second time, I spontaneously started crying in public just by thinking of the book (and, yes, that was extremely embarrassing).
– My heart skips a beat every time I hear that one of my friends has started reading Twilight. The books are so amazingly extraordinary and captivating, and I am SO happy when others get to experience it as well.
– Once, a non-twilighter friend on mine made the mistake (or the very fortunate decision, on my behalf) of asking me what Twilight was all about, and I couldn’t stop talking.
– The first thing I do when turning on my computer is checking Twilighters.org for news, and I do it EVERY day, NO exceptions.
– I have learned the notes to Yiruma’s River Flows in You (aka Bella’s Lullaby) and Carter Burwell’s Bella’s Lullaby by heart, and can play them both on the piano.
– I have written a song inspired by and dedicated to Twilight titled Fly.
– I am going to Italy this summer and have persuaded my father to visit Volterra (even though it’s no close to where we’re going). Yay, I’m going to Volterra !

“and during that week it was ALL I could think of (now I can think of other things as well). ”

Haha you sound exactly like me
your story is very similar to mine
I feel the same way!
The other day a friend of mine made the mistake of calling Edward stupid and ugly. haha(she’s team jacob) we were going at it for about 45 mins arguing who is best!
hahaha
Thank you SO much for making m fan of the week =] ! I really appreciate it.
To Cheryl: I did visit Montepulciano as well. It was amazing! I must admit that I had a hard time breathing properly when I arrived both Volterra and Montepulciano. It was so unreal, and I advice everyone to go there if they have the opportunity.
To Amme: I’m am not lying. When I sent in that application (which is several months ago), that was indeed how things were. Now, however, things have cooled down a little. For instance there has been more than 3 days in between me reading the Twilight-saga ect.
I would love to exchange and discuss Twilight-experiences, so feel free to mail me n Facebook =]
Sending my love to all of you ! <3
