Hello? Does anyone hear about the other animals being hunted? For goodness sake, hunting is a sport, it has been for years and I don’t agree with it unless the hunters use everything. Seal hunting isn’t any different, people just get all riled up because seals a cute. Just for everyone’s information, seals are one of the more fiercest creatures out there when they hunt. I don’t see people campaigning to save the Canadian moose or Geese. What? Not cute enough? Both are hunted annually, just like seals. I’m not saying that there isn’t cruelty when it comes to seal hunting, but there is cruelty in every other hunting sport. No matter how much people make a stink about it, it’s not going to change, its part of a heritage. Its good people are standing up for what they believe and what not, however, seals are food, just like cows, chickens and moose. Where is all the people jumping to save them from cruelty? |

CATE has a really good point. I mean, the only reason these seal hunters are allowed to kill the seals is because the waters are getting over polluted with them. They keep breeding and breeding, and each of those seals has to eat fish which are a part of manys diets, and I’m not talking for people. It is sad that the goverment allows this and that it happens, but it has to be done. It especially comes down to the many seals eat many fish, and everything else in the ocean eats fish too, and now many of those other animals are dying of starvation. |
