Fan of the Week: Nov 2 – 8, 2009

Twilighter since? december 2008I never really understood why everyone was reading Twilight I thought it was just some stupid romance, and I regret that ever so much now. One day I went shopping and my older sister bought the book so im like ” ok I’ll also read it and check it out”. When I finally started reading it im like”this isnt interesting”and I stoped at PAGE 8!! After a 1 or 2 weeks I saw the movie and im like :O OH MY GOD. I fell madly in love with it, I was dieing to read New Moon. When I finally got New Moon, 24/7 reading, all the time i had the book with me, at breakfast, at lunch, at dinner, even late at night when everyone was sleeping and early in the morning and if I leave the house the book comes along. It only took me 1 week to finish New Moon, then i got eclipse and the same thing for New Moon applied: comes with me everywhere, and it only took 1 week and a few days to finish it, and the day I finished Eclipse, I got Breaking Dawn. When my mom bought the book and came home, I was jumping for joy, knowing that it gets extra interesting, right when I got the book I ran to my room and started reading it, and couldnt stop. For New Moon and Eclipse the same rules applied but for Breaking Dawn it was differnt i’d read in the night when everyones asleep until 6:ooam. I’d skip breakfast and read, i’d read all the time and if I take breaks without the book the break would only take 10 mins, even if I had to use the washroom or take a shower. In the end I finished Breaking Dawn in 1 week. Then I wanted to read Twilight since i didnt finish it soo I did, and it was better than the movie and I finished it in around 5 days. In the end when i told my mom I read all the books she was really proud of me, but then I started reading the saga again and I thought my parents were ok with that, but they weren’t. When I was rereading New Moon again my dad finally saw me reading it again and hes like didnt you already read that!!! why are you reading it again!!?? Are you crazy!!!??? I would’ve said yes cause I knew I was, but I was afraid to admit it so im like no. And my dad went and told my mom and my mom came to talk to me after work, she said im not supposed to read books over and over again and told me to get other books, and she finally said I dont and you’re dad dont want to see you reading those books ever again. And I was afraid to say no, so I said ok. But I still do read them seceretly and im saving up money to go see New Moon in theatres, and to buy posters and t-shirts and merchandises: all the things that my parents think is a waste of money.
So here I am banned from doing something I love A.K.A: Reading the twilight saga. But still seceretly am.I am an obsessed twilight fan and I am proud of that, and if someone has a problem with that A.K.A: My family and friends,well they just have to suck it up and deal with it themselves, I AM A TWILIGHTER!!!!!:D

Sweetness they should be glad the Twilight Saga is your choice in reading material. There are way soo many books you could be reading that are far, far, far not sooo good for you. I’m a granny and my grandaughter loves Team Edward. She has just starting reading the saga and now she knows why I am Team Edward also. Viva la Cullens!!!
wow.. ur sooo like me!! the only thing different here is that nobody around me doesnt really care i read or not.. but hey, good job having read the whole saga.. reading it over and over again even makes it better! good luck to get urself to the movies this month.. i cant WAIT for new moon to be released!! Ok so I saw the movie and loved it and im like i should read the books. I was too lazy to get them (lol im not now i would do anything and go anywhere for twilight) so id didnt. But my mom downloaded the listening books and i was bored so i just started listening to them. From then on i was on the computer alot!!! my dad was like why are you always on the computer your going to break it. And then my parents tried tp banned me but i didnt listen. I listened to the series once and read the series once. The listening version of the book is a bit different from the regular book but is still good. I like the text better because its longer for example the listening version doesn’t have the prom scene. it actuallly stops in the ballet studio after Edward saves Bella. It frusrated me so much but anyway baqck to the subject. My parents try to ban me by making uo lame excuses but I was too persistant. Also i got my mom to read the series and she understood why i was so obssessed. Now she a twilight mom. Were going to see New moon on November 21st. I would see it on the 20th but it will be to chaotic and my family is not obssessed enough to fight their way through the movie theater. So yea you hang in there and try to get ur parents to read Twilight so they can relate. Wow this is a long comment! Ok ill stop writing now byez!

I LOVE to read so my dad bought me the Twilight and New Moon a few weeks ago… I became obsessed!! I read twilight in 3 days!!! and New Moon in 5!! After I read both of them my fiancee bought me Eclipse and Breaking Dawn… I read Eclipse in a little more than a week and currently Im stuck studying for finals !! Cant wait to get them done with so I can read the last one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Counting the days for the New Moon Movie release!!!!
It took me 2 days to read twilight,new moon and eclipse.3 days to read breaking dawn!
i feel so bed for u how can u live my mom dosnt care for twilight so whan im talkeing to her about it its like taking to my salf but she nows y im in love with it …. hope u see the movie im going on the 21th to if i go on the frist day i mite get hert to many girls going to be there i hope it works out for u
wow, she really loves tiwlight. i think it stinks that your rents don’t like yu reading it. my rents think its great that i read all the time. they think its ggod for me and it makes me smarter. how bout u tell your rents that. i actually learned things from twilight. i never knew about forks, so its educating me in places. i think its cool how fast it took u 2 read the books. it took me forever to read twilight and ecilpse. new moon, not so much, and breaking dawn was the fastest, 3 days, but i had to wait a month for that. . . anyways, u deserve fan of the week!!! Clawd-Wad!!

Oh great…yet ANOTHER one who only read it because of the movie hype.
These “fans” put me off twilight.
So, tell me why you guys like Edward… I’d just realy like to know what makes him attractive to some people. If I had to pick, (from the Twilight characters, if I had more choices I’d go with Mr. Darcy of Pride & Prejudice or Edward Rochester of Jane Eyre) I’d definitely choose Jacob… Personally, I think he’s the best character in the series. What makes Edward cool for all of you?
