Top 10 Highlights of the ‘New Moon’ Premiere

Fearnet.com has a new article highlighting some of the highlights of the New Moon premiere!

Rachelle Lefevre was “too emotional” to attend the premiere.

The only no-show of the night was actress Rachelle Lefevre, who lost the role of the vampire Victoria to Bryce Dallas Howard after playing her in the first two Twilight films. With her beloved dog in the hospital, Lefevre Tweeted her explanation to fans during the premiere: “’2 fans at the premiere: w/ Honey in hospital & being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn’t manage it. So sorry.’

Nicest celebrity of the night: Kellan Lutz

Twilight’s Emmett pulled the best move of the night when, after signing autographs, he pulled two fans wearing ‘Nutz for Lutz’shirts out of the crowd and escorted them into the premiere screening as his impromptu guests.

I love kellan and i didnt know that Rechelle was fired from Eclipse :( I love her sooo much, she is so pretty in person (i met her when the twilight tour went to seattle last year) and i think that it sucks for the people filming Eclipse, they are missing one amazing actree :)

awww. poor Rachelle. im not really a fan of the bad vamps, but i adore her, she made the best victoria and is just so sweet. im so sad they replaced her, she didnt deserve that, and everyone knows they only did cuz they wanna suck up to ron howard. im gonna be very mad if that works and he ends up directing breaking dawn when they decide on filming it. they hurt a great actress in the process.

Summit’s done some great things for us, but firing Rachelle was probably the worst decision they’ve ever made. (And I personally don’t care if they said it was her who made the choice to take another film that season; we all know they could’ve worked around her schedule. God knows they would’ve done if for Rob or Kristen.)

Anyway, I totally understand why the premier would’ve been too much to bear. Rachelle, we love you and I wish we had the power to reverse Summit’s decision. No offense to Bree, of course, but you know how us Twi-hards get about our vampires! ;)
