None of the movies will ever be the same as the books but what I've realized is if the movies were EXACTLY the same as the books then they wouldn't be that interesting I mean think about it, the same lines, the same setting whoever had read the book before they watched the movie would know exactly what would happen next. You can never get it perfectly right but changing it up a bit and adding in some new things is how it's supposed to be. I thought Chris Weits did great and the best he could.
I found the movie good accept for the ending, that was one thing I didn't expect!

I was also disappointed in the movie mainly due tp the poor direction from Mr. Weitz of the characters and perhaps Ms. Rosenburg's screen play. They definitely missed the bus! The passion and the urgency was somehow missing as it did not measure up to the book, especially the departing scene with Bella and Edward. Alice is such a catalyst to the story and, yet she was not provided the opportunity to really carry her involvement off. After all Bella and Edward went through in Italy, there was no continuation of the return home. Rosalie's remorse of the role she played in causing all of it as well as the airport scene should have been included to bring closure to the Italy ordeal. Jacob's performance was pretty good overall, but what was that ridiculous display at the movie theatre or even keeping that whole scenario in the movie??? Total waste of film and time. I hope that Eclipse and Breaking Dawn meet the high standards of the books. As a true Twilight Saga fan, I am looking forward to move past New Moon and trust that directors of the next (2) films won't miss their bus!

I agree with these and I think they work in the movie my only problem is when Bella hits Paul. I do think it worked in the movie but it's not a good way to set up Eclipse. She breaks her hand in Eclipse because she punches Jacob...Why wouldn't Paul have the same effect?? Like I said it works for New Moon but it's not a good way to set up that scene in Ecplise.

i agreee with all of those
but i cant say im glad for all of them
oh well they got as close to the book as they could get. obviously u would have to scrape a little off the edges.

its kinda weird though, when you WANT kristen to be vibrant and happy in Twilight, shes depressed, and when you want her to be depressed in New Moon, shes all vibrant and happy. SHEESHH.
