MTV: ‘New Moon’ Chris Weitz Reveals DVD Details

MTV caught up with director Chris Weitz to get the scoop on the New Moon dvd.

“There will be a commentary track,” Weitz revealed, saying that he’ll soon head into the recording booth with his three big stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. “It’ll just be us riffing off each other in our intimate way,” he grinned. “We kind of like each other, so that should be fun.”

“There will be probably about 20 minutes of deleted material,” he explained, promising some meaty footage. “It really is good stuff and a bonus for the fans.”

WOW! 20 minutes of cut footage will be interesting to see. Does anyone know when Summit plans on releasing the DVD? I have a feeling it might be around March but that’s a guess…

I like the bloopers when they mess up on their lines and they try to get them right but they can’t!

I can’t wait that long to see Eclipse I just can’t!
It’s killing me, Like a giant hole has been punched through my chest, just like Bella was in New Moon after Edward leaves her.
Ugh! It’s not possible for an obsessed fan like me to wait this long!
I could hardly stand the wait over the summer to see New Moon!
