Are K. Stew and Anna too good for the Twilight characters they play? K.S. has many movies coming out within the next 2 years. With roles in The Runaways, Welcome To The Rileys, and rumored to be in K-11 with Twilight star, Nikki Reed. While Anna Kendrick had her breakthrough role in Twilight and then went with the orginal cast onto New Moon, but quickly following that, her movie Up In The Air with George Clooney was up for many nominations in the past month on most award shows. So what do you think? Is K and A getting too big for Twilight? What about Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz? Or Peter Facinelli? Comment telling your opinion!

Hannah and Elizabeth had a lucky fan encounter with Jackson Rathbone after the 100 Monkeys concert this last Tuesday. Read about their experience below!

On January 26th in Bakersfield, CA, the band 100 Monkeys played at The Dome. Obviously, this was really exciting because Jackson Rathbone fronts this band and was in our HOMETOWN! So of course, we went! Turns out, the band itself was really awesome and put on an amazing show. Afterward, the adventure began. Elizabeth and I decided to hang out behind the building where the stage door is to see if maybe we could catch a glimpse of the man of the hour. Turns out, Jackson needed a smoke conveniently while we were back there! We got to talking about poetry, music, and being yourself in a small town for a solid 15 minutes.

We also asked about his black eye. He told us that while he was in San Fransisco, a guy tried to steal his guitar so Jackson chased him down, tackled him, got punched in the face, BUT he got his guitar back. Lesson learned: Don’t mess with Jackson Rathbone. Hahaha! Eventually, his band mate, Jerad Anderson came and got Jackson to go tear down the set. We got a picture, said goodbye, and then proceeded to get really excited for life!

And that’s pretty much how we hung out with Jackson Rathboone. The most exciting (and epic) thing EVER. YAY!

MTV taked to Kristen Stewart at Sundance and she compares her role on Welcome to the Rileys to he Twilight Saga films.

In an earlier interview with MTV News, the actress argued that even though the film presents her in a far different light than the “Twilight” films, fans of the vampire franchise will find much to connect with in “Rileys.”

“Most ‘Twilight’ fans are young girls, and this is a really, really good story for them,” she said. “It just sort of opens your eyes. You just don’t have any options.”

For this week’s Friday Fan Art we’re showcasing some beautiful art made by Kaitlyn Vaughn, 16, in Michigan. These three individual artworks come together as one piece, shown in the last picture.

This was a project I did in art class and it’s of Edward and Bella. One of the pictures was drawn in pencil, another was tempura paint, and the other one is tiny pieces of magazine clippings glued together to form the picture =] This is something I did and really liked, so I hope you do too! Let me know what you think.

We’re back again with our second Great Debate Thursday. Remember every Thursday is YOUR chance to voice your opinion (we know you have one) on some of the most intensely debated Twilight subjects!

Is Rosalie’s dislike of Bella justified? Why or why not?

Best response’s

Heather

Rosalie’s dislike for Bella is understandable, but not necessarily justified. Rosalie is judging Bella based on Rosalie’s values and beliefs and her bitterness about her own situation. It isn’t fair for Rosalie to impose these on Bella, when Bella is capable of making her own decisions. Bella is in a completely different situation and has a different set of priorities. Instead of resenting Bella, Rosalie should try to understand where Bella is coming from in regards to her love for Edward and the sacrifices necessary to be with him forever. For Bella, life isn’t worth living without Edward, and Rosalie should respect whatever decision makes Bella happy- regardless of her own opinions.

Just post your well thought out argument in the post comments, respond and react to others opinions, and most of all have fun and be respectful to everyone who participates. Admins will be reading through the comments and picking some of the best responses to be featured up here in the post!

Last week’s GDT: Is ‘Imprinting’ Creepy or Romantic?

Boston.com has a new interview with Boston native Julia Jones (Leah Clearwater) about her role in the upcoming Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie!

During her intense three weeks of shooting for “Eclipse’’ last fall, Jones was exposed to the world of big-budget movies and life as a Hollywood A-lister. She was surrounded by the franchise’s big names – Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner – who, at the time, were coping with their new international fame while trying to work.

“I really am in awe of [their] ability to handle all of that,’’ Jones says. “It’s their job, and they treat it as their job. For whatever reason – and Taylor is 17 years old – they understand that. They’re so committed.’’

Jacob was simply a perpetually happy person, and he carried that happiness with him like an aura, sharing it with whoever was near him. Like an earthbound sun, whenever someone was within his gravitational pull, Jacob warmed them. It was natural, a part of who he was. No wonder I was so eager to see him. — Bella Swan, New Moon | Chapter 6
