I wasn’t sure if I was strong enough… And while there was still that possibility that I might be… overcome, I was… susceptible. Until I made up my mind that I was strong enough, that there was no possibility at all that I would… that I ever could… — Edward Cullen, Twilight | Chapter 14

Coming Soon: ‘Bella’ Clothing Line

MarieClaire.co.uk is reporting that the company that makes the famous Bella jacket, worn by Kristen Stewart in the ‘Twilight’ film, is planning to expand on that success by offering an entire line of ‘Bella’ inspired clothing. It looks like the style of the line will have an outdoor wear feel, including skinnies, plaid shirts, hoodies, and more.

For this autumn, the brand are creating a new collection consisting of plaid shirts, skinny cords and hoodies, all revolving around the still-in-demand jacket and the outdoorsy style of Twilight’s vampire-loving heroine.

I’d just like to say on behalf of all us Twilight Guys out there that we would like an Edward clothing line! Come on fandom it would be nice if TwiGuys could feel included too. Twi Guys shout out in the comments!

So what do you think of the upcoming ‘Bella’ clothing line? Will you rock the look?

  • Totally agree Twi Guys need a Edward clothing line or something

  • I say yes to a TwiGuy clothing line, then we'd all be looking fly like Edward xD

  • YES!!! hopefully the prices are going to be decent as well. For Christmas my mom got me the Bella dress, but the shipping and handling was sooo crazy!!!! woot! i agree there should be a twiguy clothing, if girls want to be bella, why wouldnt they want their boyfriend to look like edward? durh!

  • IszAh:

Wow guys, just flipping wow. a clothing line for make believe people? come on. look, i love twilight and all, but i cant stand how big its gotten. i read the book when it first came out and i would tell everyone i knew to read it, now i just wish she never wrote it. everyone is obsessed with a fantasy world. none of its real and yet they act like there is an edward out there, there isnt! Rob isnt edward, hes Rob. Kristen isnt bella. there is no real twilight story, grow up. and yeah its nice to be like oh i wish i'd find something like this, but your all turning a story into real life. it isnt real and it never will be, please find something else to devote your time to.

    • Yes we all understand it is a fictional story, but we are fans of that story, and there is nothing new to people being big fans of something (note Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc). If I may, why are you on a Twilight 'fansite' if you are so opposed to Twilight and the accompanying fandom?

    • Chloe:

Dude person whoever you are. You are a major BUZKILL. The people that are obssessed with twilight i'm pretty sure KNOW it's not real. Maybe they would just like to let themselves think it is. sometimes I let myself think it's real only because there really aren't any DECENT guys in the world, or at least in Georgia. And it makes things more exciting to think farther down into a world where mythical creatures exist. You need to find this not so little thing called IMAGINTION!!!!

  • Misty:

I sorta agree. I mean, this company just wants to make money. If you like bellas look that much, go out and do it yourself. Make it your own. Add to YOUR personal style. This is too much. 7 year olds wear clothing lines for Hannah montana, do you really want to act that way at 17, 18, 19 + ??I’m sorry, I love bellas hair, but I’m not going to buy twilight extensions..

  • Misty:

Also, guys. Edward keeps it simple. Vnecks, blazers, jeans, Ray ban sunglasses. He’s easy to channel. Watch the movie again for inspiration! You don’t need a likely to be overpriced twilight clothing line! Ahh I wish I worked for this site, I’d totally make a post with some hints and examples. I did that once for some girls who like Hayley from paramores style.

  • Michelle :

Misty, I agree with you. Bella's wardrobe isn't even that special. Skinny jeans and plaid shirts? You can find those at any mall. Bella is an average teenage girl so she wears average teenage clothing.

  • John:

I agree we guys need to feel included but I don't blame them for not making a clothing line for us. The media and most guys make is seem like Twilight is for girls which is really sad.

  • I agree with Misty. Yes the only reason they're making it, is to make money. And I don't really get the point in dressing up as Bella. I mean it can be fun to live in the moment (such as role play) but in the end, you realize your never going to be that character. Sorta depressing :/, in my opinion. And rather than everyone buying the same clothing and matching, why not create your OWN Bella style, like misty stated above. I mean dressing like Bella doesn't require buying expensive/ commercial clothing when you could pull off a similar look with your own inspiration? If someone was that passionate about the series, I feel they would want to create THEIR version of Bella and how they picture her, not the media's version.

  • At first I was like- Oh goodness! How cool is that? but after reading your ocmments I don't know…
But I think some of you are missing the point. At least for me- you don't buy the clothes to look like the character. You buy this so you can wear it- when you wear it, to me it screams: I love Twilight and I don't care who knows, hey, I'll tell the whole world I love Twilight!
But maybe that's just because I am a crazy twilighter XD

  • Mike:

    Yeah, I want Edwards Jacket.

  • Kaycie Bell:

I think it is pretty cool that they are going to make a Bella inspired clothing line. There definetely should be an Edward line because I would not mind seeing all the studs out there look like him. It would put a whole new spin on the saying “eye candy” haha. True everyone should have their own style, that is why we are all unique. However, I find myself proud to be a twihard and would support anything anyone created twilight related. If people can go and dress up like Harry Potter or Jar Jar Binks, why can’t we fans of Twilight be allowed to dress up like our hero’s? Don’t nay say or hate on what we all do. Just love and embrace us for our passion about this. You don’t see this kind of love and togetherness anywhere any more and that is sad. Thank goodness SM created this wonderful world that we can all share together. =o)

  • Lusii:

hey, and what about alice clothing line?

  • Kamberli :

    THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lily:

Think its awesome but please keep in mind that not all of us wear a small, so if something could be made in larger sizes and/or plus size then that would be great!
    Grazie!

  • Jillian Mary:

You can get clothes just like Bella's at thrift stores. It's cheap and all you have to do is wash it twice and it's ready to wear. Unless you're like my friend Sarah who washes her clothes from there, like six times, but they're fine after one, the second is just to be ocd about it. You don't have to go and spend $40 on a 'Bella inspired shirt' you can go get six of them for $10 and have money left over.

  • Look every one has their own opinion. I know there are some people who would go into a shop look @ some thing they like and go "I don't know how that would look" or "It's not very popular" (which is stupid because you shouldn't care about what other people think) and then they see some one famous wear it and want the look. Of corse some ones gonna start a clothing line to start making money, that's how u earn a living. And BTW people I'm sure if you'd thought of the idea you would have tried it. (Trust me u would of, don't lie 2 urself)

  • Cheyenne:

Im pumped for this new Bella inspired clothing line! i already have the green "new moon" jacket from Hot topic! i love it! cant wait for more clothes! :)

  • it would be awesome!!! and ya i'd buy it!!! =) as long as its sold at places like Off the Wall and others clothing stores in Canada!! =)

  • Sophia:

I think you all have great ideas about making bella's style into your own. Is it just me, or does the book bella dress differently from the movie bella? I think i like the movie bella's style better. I also think they should just make a twilight clothing line with key peices from all of the characters instead of just bella's clothing. Bella is my favorite character (besides edward) but I LOVE the way Rosalie dresses. And I know lots of you like the way alice dresses as well, this way we could all enjoy styles from out favorite twilight characters, including the guys!
