Kristen Stewart and Anna Kendrick- Too Good For Twilight?

Are K. Stew and Anna too good for the Twilight characters they play? K.S. has many movies coming out within the next 2 years. With roles in The Runaways, Welcome To The Rileys, and rumored to be in K-11 with Twilight star, Nikki Reed. While Anna Kendrick had her breakthrough role in Twilight and then went with the orginal cast onto New Moon, but quickly following that, her movie Up In The Air with George Clooney was up for many nominations in the past month on most award shows. So what do you think? Is K and A getting too big for Twilight? What about Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz? Or Peter Facinelli? Comment telling your opinion!

definitely not. they will always be Bella and Jessica. Just because their careers are heading plcaes, doesnt mean they should be stuck in one characterization. Aint too cool for school.
I agree with you Samantha. Although their characters will always be Bella & Jessica, it definately does not mean that Kristen and Anna can not grow and develop further.

Yeah I sooo agree. KS and AK have really made their characters come alive. They are perfect for Bella and Jessica. They should be alowed to expan their careers and become acomplished actresses. Good luck to them both!
no way man, itd be weird watching Twilight without them, cos figin hell, Kristen Stewart is Bella for pete sake, and Anna Kendrick is like, the hottest person in the Twilight movies so you just can’t lose her. Ive read all the books and if they do leave il still remain a massive fan but it wont be as special as it was in the first movie
No they are not! Their twilight characters are what made them big anyways. Like she said they will always be Bella and Jess to everyone else that love twilight. No of them are to good, twilight is still HUGE and always will be. Just because all their acting careers are finally going places, no matter what twilight movies will be bigger than the other ones. So you get how i feel byee!
I totally agree with you. I dont think they're careers would've gotten to be what they are without twilight so to say they are too good for it is ridiculous!
IKR! I had never heard of ether of them before twilight. Twilight is a hhuuugggeee production and has unlocked many doors for them all.

I don't think there too good. These roles just opened up many doors for them. Actors have to have a start and they did. This is their start.
To be honest, they aren't too good for it because Twilight made them. you don't get too good for the film that's made them who they are. Sure, they had other movies but Twilight boosted their career to what it is now. They would never have been this popular without Twilight.

twilight made them, even when they going to be in their 40's and 50's people still going to mention twilight, and how it was their REAL break-through.

The phrase "too good" alludes that the Twilight films aren't worthy of the amazing talent exhibited by these actors. SO not the case! The film adaptation of such amazing books deserves only the best! What's even more amazing is how incredibly committed and protective these young actors are to their roles.
I think that they are perfect for Twilight! Twilight was their breakthrough movie and because of it they are becoming more famous and starring in more movies – Twilight created them to be the stars we know and love!
i don't think Kristen Stewart has the right personality to play Bella so she is most definably not to good for twilight
i dont think that they r too good.. seriously anna is a terrible actress shes lucky she got twilight in the first place and for the rest of the cast where would their careers be without it, the movies are what made them into these iconic people in the first place
I know i may get some bad comments for this but i think Twilight was too good for K.S i dont think she did thatwell but i love every other character and i think they all fet there parts well and wasnt too good for it.
I thought KS was excellent in Twilight but not so much in New Moon…at least she didn't meet my expectations. She's an incredible actress in other films but for some reason in NM the scenes where she had to express any kind of emotion made me cringe. too much fast forwarding. I wish she had relaxed and just let it flow rather than trying to force it. If the part didn't mean that much too her I don't think she would have tried as hard as she did. So no, she's not too big for Twilight
I think you make a good point about KS in New Moon. She was better in Twilight. Maybe because they changed directors? I noticed this not only with KS but the other actors/actresses as well.
I thought it was the best performance yet from Rob & Taylor
In that scene where Ed says bye to Bella…did you see the subtleties in what his character was really thinking in his eyes…oh and the burning man look when he first went to the Volturi. I'm not normally a Rob fan but this blew me away.
Did you also notice how out of the few times Jasper speaks in the two movies so far only once has he spoken with a southern accent lol go the continuity
Really? I can't believe you guys even posted this. It's horrible. They should both be very grateful to have been this successful because of one movie saga. Yes I know that most of the Twilight cast aren't very happy with all of the attention from fans but you can't blame them, I don't think I would enjoy being ambushed everytime I set foot in a public area either, but I'm sure they're loving the millions they're making in movie rolls (that they probably got more for their current hype than their talent).
To be perfectly honest, i think they both suit the roles. Twilight was their breakthrough, and with more and more fans becoming connected via their other roles, then that simply means more and more twilighters! What could be wrong with that?
They are absolutely not too big for Twilight!!!! The entire theme and thought or idea of Twilight is bigger than everyone!!!! They are just the smaller branches that make up the Twilight tree. It's ridiculous that someone would even think that. I think it's wonderful that they are branching off and growing as actors. I'm super excited for them trust me you have no idea. But, at the same time Twilight is bigger than everyone!!!!!! ( except for Taylor Lautner's muscles :] )
i only read the head line and i have to say that is rubbish! if anything twilight is too big for them, yes they have developed as actors but it was twilight that helped them, ks said it herself, she was used to doing independant films that no one ever sees and i never even knew who ak was. lets not be silly people! I do think they are great actors and have nothing against them (just to set things straight)

i think that they are never to big for twilight…Twilight popularized most off these talented actors…without the twilight movie half of the people would not have even known about of these actors..=)

Twilight's not too good for them and they're not too good for it. It didn't make their careers as so many people are saying, but thatdoesn't mean they should just leave it. This was quite frankly a stupid post. Unless they're considering leaving, which I doubt they are, it's ridiculous. It's great for them to continue looking for roles and expanding their careers, because Twilight will not be making a movie a year for the rest of their lives. And, in my opinion, they're perfect for their roles in Twilight.
I am not a professional in the Acting World, however, it would seem beneficial to all the current Actors to stick with what gave them such success……and STILL keep doing other films. There is a danger to all of them to stay in that same kind of role, for life. Someone knows what they are doing!!!
They are NOT too big for Twilight Movies. Twilight may have gotten too big, for a few of them. Rob is a song writer and musician, first. It will be interesting to see which path he chooses. I hope there are at least 4 more movies to come!! I can promise, I will be sad when the last one is released.

I don't think they're too big for twilight. i honestly believe the reason so many stars from the cast of twilight are being offered all of these other roles is due to the success of the first and second films. i am excited to see our favorite characters take on other personas for these new movies, i'm glad we get to see them with attitudes and looks. i think when we all look back we're gonna say "yeah, they got their big break from twilight" lol they'll always be bella and jess to me tho
I don't think any of them are getting to big for Twilight. With the success that the Saga has compiled, it is almost impossible for them to out-grow it. Plus, I don't think that an actor should remove themselves from what gave them their start. So, no.

I think you're missing the point. Each role an actor takes helps them grow…and if they're lucky, they'll get a high-profile role that brings them tons of attention and scripts, which is what the whole cast got via the Twilight Saga. And don't forget probably the biggest breakthru star – Robert Pattinson. He's got "Remember Me", "Bel Ami" both coming out this year, and if industry rumors are true, he just signed on to "Water for Elephants" opposite Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Sean Penn. He's gone from a supporting player and art house actor to major A-Lister in under two years. Kristen has been around for years but Twilight has given her the visibility to be recognized for her work in other films that would otherwise possibly have gone unnoticed and unreviewed.
twilight is the biggest franchise in the world closely followeed by potter so surely any other film they do no matter who the other actors are is a let down ? not the other way round.
No movie they do will be better than the Twilight saga sorry to say. They need to enjoy it while it last and that's the hole cast! Do you really think any of there next films are going to pull in the same amount of money that Twilight did?

They are good actresses, and they have the privilege of be working with robert pattinson and taylor lautner and have the great privilege of be doing something that valuable as the twilight saga is! =)
They are totally not too good for the saga, we twilighters have made tham all epically popular, and Kristen Stwert is a horrible actress anyway, so she shouldn't be talking any smack

I honestly never heard of Kristen before Twilight. Twilight made her.Is she too cool for Twilight? NO I heard of Anna for years first for High Society which I saw and she should have won that Tony. Second youngest ever to be nom. I saw her in Camp and then in Rocket Science she was amazing in both. I knew then she was going to go big. She had it in her. Twilight is likely to have her. I pray and hope very much she continues on with the saga. Is she too cool for Twilight? hmmm…no i dont think so but film critics do. i have read alot of stuff on her being in Twilight. Saying Twilight is below…blah blah. Yes I believe Anna is the bestactress of all the Twilight actors. Ashley, Kellan, Rob, Taylor and most of the cast are like Kristen Twilight made them and they still have alot to prove. Ashley, Kellan and some of the others are so new to film that have to make more film and practice and get better. I think they will and we will not hear the end of them for a long time to come.

Kristen and Anna are incredible actors so of course they’re being chosen to star in other films other than the Twilight Saga. I think that they should continue on doing what they’re doing. Without Kristen being Bella the movie Twilight wouldn’t be the same and I dont think that it would have as much popularity if they were to replace her. Since I saw the first movie I thought that they had picked the perfect characters for the parts. I wish them all the best of luck in their careers and may God bless.

What I love about ALL the actors in Twilight and New Moon is that they took the role and the film seriously as actors/actresses even though the critical press seemed to dismiss the films immediately.

Kristen & Anna have made names for themselves in the "Twilight" saga & now their talent (& the names they've made for themselves in"Twilight") will take them wherever they're meant to go. Besides, I'm sure they (& their bank accounts) will be forever grateful to be associated with such a megahit series.

Well… They're good… They all have the same ways to get good works if some takes them and other don't it has nothing to do with their other roles… If we look that way than see the curriculum of KS and compare to AK. They're completely different…. They are great actress just like Ashley Green and Nikki Reed but the really work, they struggle and the win…. is as simple as that. Of course Kristen Stewart, in my opinion, is the best actress in The Twilight Saga, even in Adventureland she did a really great job… And they're not to good for twilight or whatever film that made in the twilight saga, they just work… And they always be connected to they characters in twilight.

i dont think they are " too good for twilight " twilight didnt give kstew her start. she was a well developed actress at a very young age. if kstew and anna kendrick dont play other roles and take part in other movie geners, thats all they will be known for, the actresses in the twilight saga, dont get me wrong, i love twilight and im sure the film got the cast some nice checks but they need to be diverse in the roles they play to grow as individuals and actors they can't just be know for twilight.
