Happy birthday to the very talented Dakota Fanning!

MTV us reporting on Taylor Lautner’s newest project, a movie called “Abduction.”

Lionsgate has bought the script for the thriller “Abduction” and cast the “Twilight” star as a young man who sees his baby picture on a missing persons Web site.

Lionsgate picked up the project after a week-long bidding war for Shawn Christensen’s spec script. Variety reports that the studio paid a sum in the “high six figures” for the script, which the studio will co-produce with Gotham Group, Vertigo Entertainment and Lautner’s production company Tailor Made.

The Last Airbender TV Spot 2 is out now, and you can clearly see Jackson Rathbone in this one if you pay attention at 11 seconds:

Thanks to Paramount Pictures!

In the scene — which seems to take place either just before or right after Emilie de Ravin and Rob argue over dessert at an Indian restaurant (they’re wearing the same clothes) — the “Twilight” star tries to woo his lady love the good old-fashioned way: by winning a carnival game.

I love all of the Twilight books and Stephanie Meyer is like my goddess! The characters are so real to me and I feel like I am part of the stories. I have read all the books exactly 10 times and I have also been to Forks, Wa. which I have a scrapbook of about 200 pictures from! I also have a huge shelf dedicated to the Twilight Saga full of Twilight souvenirs like the population sign from Forks, the apple from the Twilight cover, Bella’s charm bracelet, Twilight Saga stickers and pins, the flower on the New Moon cover, magazines that have anything to do with the Twilight Saga: like the People Twilight Special Edition, even the Twilight and New Moon Sweethearts! I saw Twilight out in theaters twice and I saw New Moon when it first came out in theaters November 20th at midnight! I also have a Twilight Saga binder I made, filled with quotes, summaries of the books, pictures, the cast from the movies, and random notes I’ve taken every time I have read the books. I probably have driven my whole family insane, because I’m always reciting lines from the books and the movies! I am so excited for New Moon to come out on DVD March 10th and Eclipse out in theaters June 30th, which I am going to see at the IMAX theater in Seattle! I am definitely OBSESSED with the Twilight Saga!

“I’ve seen the movie, I’m going to just say — I’m sure people will be like, ‘Oh my God [I'm so jealous!],” she laughed. “He’s really good in the movie.”

“It’s hard to talk about your friends — about anybody that’s close to you that you know,” she said of critiquing Rob’s performance. “It’s like, he’s everything I know he is. I know he can do any film.”

“Living is so wrapped up in who you are as an actor, not everybody can play every part,” she said, explaining that RPattz was well cast in the film. “He is really strong in the movie. Maybe people won’t really expect that — he’s quite bold, which is great.”
