It looks good. I'm really worried that they're not going to portray Jake as manipulative in Eclipse, with the kiss and all. It's gonna spoil everything.
He is kind of manipulative, though. I have to say, I was quite angry when he force kissed her. Love Jake and all, but I had a Team Edward moment there.
Yeah, I know. I meant that I'm worried they're NOT gonna portray him as manipulative. Because of all the "Jake craze" that has been going on.
I totally agree with you guys! Jake can be real bitter and can be a jerk in Eclipse quite often. So I hope they dont sugar coat his character just to please the masses. Hopefully they stick to the book and show the scene were Bella sucker punches him ha ha. Although I was pissed when she more less cheated on Edward by kissing Jake back before the fight….Sorry I went on a bit of a rant its probably because I am team Edward!!!!
I'm with you girl, I was so ticked at her that if I could have I would have gone to forks, found her and slapped her face. But I'm team Edward also so my view could be cloudy
Oh big time, I was actually really upset when I read the last few chapters lol! But whether we are team Edward or not she was in the wrong anyways. But seriously how anyone could want someone other than Edward is beyond me! If only there was Edward for each of us!
one thing with the succer punch if they do it is in the book she breaks her hand after punching him (which i loved – i seem to remember some quirky lines coming from that) but in the film they cant do that becasue shes already punched paul in new moon and obviously didnt break her hand
shame, would hav been interesting seeing how they portray that etc.
tbh they are both a bit horrible to her in the next book, trying 2 win her over and how they try to do that …i still love them but they both do stupid things…like edward letting jacob hav the kiss and not doin anythin etc etc etc…i could go on for days, i love the saga too much
OOH yea I totally forgot about the whole punching paul in new moon well damn that kinda kills the buzz for that scence oh well. Well I guess you are right they both go to extremes to try and win her over but out of the two Jake is definately worse and much more manipulative. Edward would have given up if she wanted him too, where Jake threatens to get himself killed unless she kisses him! That's pretty messed up. Guess we are all twi-hards lol. I think I will have to ask my friends to take my books away for a while, I can't stop reading them!!!

Technically its not cheating. Edward knew what was happening, he knew that Bella is in love with Jacob and that she needed to show him that buy kissing him. And thats the big reason she did it. She needed to show Jake that she really does love him that way even though she loves Edward. She also needed to prove it to herself. And again, as I said, Jacobs bittereness is essential to the book and himself as a character. He's wolf for howling out loud.
Agree, Jacob was extremely manipulative. He also became hurtful after he turned into a werewolf – he knew how it hurt Bella when he talked badly about Edward yet he did quite often even calling him a blood sucker. And the forced kiss was horribly wrong. Liked Jacob before the werewolf turning but that was it. Way too manipulative for me afterwards.

I can't wait to see the movie with my friends when it comes out in the summer. I always go to see the movie with my friends when the movies comes out. I never heard of them in my life but my best friend she was I think she was looking or reading them and she made me crazy about the series. I really enjoyed watching the movies. But I need to read the books and I am reading Twilight right now and I have New Moon. It looked so cool. Team Jacob rockz and I hope Bella and Jacob kissed in the movie. They need to. I know that Bella is going to pick Edward. Peer Jacob.

i dont like it…looks like they just threw it toghether. and wheres the blue come from all of a sudden? i was expecting something with reds greys and blacks like the previous teaser poster thing with the eclipse. i no its just the first one to be released tho so ill let it slide
i hav loads of uni deadlines atm so the new moon dvd coming out and the new eclipse things being released is about all thats keeping me going right now

My God, people. Give it a break. The poster is gorgeous. The colors are deep and ominous, Bella looks more beautiful than ever, Jacob’s skin tone is gloriously dark in comparison to Edward’s pale skin, and Edward…well….he’s just as beautiful as always. Yes, the pose is reflective of the DVD cover, but it’s only the FIRST of many to come. It’s practically a TEASER poster. I love it.

I don't really like it. looks boring, like the new moon dvd cover in different colors. i wish they would've been more creative, they could've done so much with the "fire and ice". but edward, bella and jacob are just standing there… again… hahah. i know it's only one poster out of many, so let's hope the others will be better!
I hope this isn't going to be the actually poster, a little boring. And for everyone who is down on Jake, let's not forget that Bella has used him through most of the story. If you were completely in love with someone and they kept giving you that little ounce of hope, you would take it.
What? You are kidding, right? This doesn't look much different than New Moon….Eclipse sounds like it will be an action filled movie & this poster seems so uneventful…..:(

its cool i dont like the cliff hanger in new moon but the action was more better then i thought it would be

OKayyyy…to be honest, I dont feel all too excited about Eclipse. I guess it's b/c it's my least fav out of the whole Saga. Jacob is too pushy in it. And..well i just dnt like Eclipse. Is there really any more to say bout it?
Anyways, the trailer to Eclipse disappointed me b/c i wanted to see some action. Guess i was expecting to be blown away like i was w/ New Moon. But after seeing the Volturi and the wolves, i dont really expect anymore surprises or expectations. I mean wat's next? the newborns? Seth and Leah? thats bout it. The newborns will look just like any other human blood drinking vampire in the Saga, and Seth and Leah will look just like the other werewolves cept a diff color. That's bout it. Idk, i'll see but onlay b/c i'm a dedicated fan. I'm trying to be open-minded bout Eclipse. As long as i'm not deeply disappointed w/it like i was w/ Twilight, i'll b fine…

I personally like the poster. Yes it is similar to New Moon, but it still portrays a lot differently. Like the contrast of Edwards light skin to the dark background, and Jacobs dark skin to the light background. Bella look absolutely gorgous!
True, Jacob was very aggressive in Eclipse but he had to be. First off, he's a werewolf and they have anger issues. Secondly, he loves Bella so much, and feels that what Edward did in New Moon should be enough for her not to be with him anymore yet she goes right to him and he feels betrayed. Thrid, he had to make Bella realize that she not only loves him but is IN love with him. To show her that she should at least consider him.
Soooo…Eclipse is my least fav book also. But I'm actually really excited to see this one. Maybe it's because there's gonna some action in it….which is always exciting. And while the poster looks similar to the New Moon one, I still like this one. It kinda portrays the choice she has to make. Just my two cents

well now i have read all your comments i think i have to say i agree to what most of u say about the poster it is very normal i mean this book is one of the main ones i mean come on she realizes that she is in love with jacob as well as jacob show how mean and dark he can be.
i dont think that it will be as good as the book tells it dont think thay r going to show the past's of rosealy and the history of jacobs tribe but have to go see just to say i have but i think i will always go bk to the books for the real twilight saga xxxx

Is anyone worried about Leah and Seth's debut? Because in the book (New Moon) they were introduced at Jacob's house when Harry, Sue, Jacob, Billy, Bella, Seth, Leah, and Charlie were all there. And in New Moon the movie we didn't get to see them. I wonder how the are going to be shown as Harry's (Yes, I know he's gone.) kids and then they just, Poof, turn in to werewolves and join the pack. So, hopefully David took care of Stephenie's baby. Plus, Eclipse is one of my favs, though some find it "boring". Oh, well. *Crosses fingers* sorry, that was random, I just liked to remind everyone of that.
P.S. Tyler wasn't in New Moon the movie…?
Oh, yeah. The poster looks great. I might add that Edward looks great in a leather jacket. But then again, what *doesn't* he look good in? And Bella looks slightly paler than Edward.
Sorry, also, I think Eclipse is going to be the best. It just keeps getting better with every movie. Except for in the books. (Where Edward was gone for 300+ stinkin' pages).
BTW: I’m also Team Mike Newton, lol.
Wow, It's remarkable the difference between Rob in Twilight and Rob in Eclipse. His features have gotten a lot, for lack of wording, harder. He definately looks older, which is bad for a film in which he doesn't age. Please, stop getting older, Rob!
