Breaking Dawn director has written a note to all of us Twilighters

I just want to say hello to all of you and let you know that I’m stoked to be getting underway on the adventure of making BREAKING DAWN. As you’ve probably heard, I’ve been given a very warm welcome by Stephenie and Team Summit – who are super-focused, as you know, on getting these movies right.
I’m pretty busy bringing myself up to speed on what you already know by heart: I’ve read BREAKING DAWN twice, rewatched Catherine’s and Chris’s movies 2-3 times each, have all four CDs playing in my car, and have Catherine’s notebook, Mark Cotta Vaz’s companion books, and even Volume 1 of the graphic novel here on my desk – a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic. I realize that this barely qualifies me for “newborn” status in the universe you’ve been living inside for a few years now, but a guy’s gotta start somewhere.
Read the whole note on The Twilight Saga Facebook!

I like this guy already. he's more twilight-ish than the other three. i know he'll do a great job!
So i was reading comments on theFB article that said they wanted it to be rated R. Heck no!!! 85% of viewers couldn't see it then and it would do terrible. That would be a terrible decision. As would making it in 3D. Leave that to Avatar which took 7 years to do.
On a different note, I totally agree with Georgie. I really do like this director after reading this "note". He seems really cool, and like he really cares about the series and doing a kick-but job making his share in the saga great. If you happen to read this, Bill, pleaseee don't mess up the whole wolf talking part in this story. it's fabulous. And yes, the wedding must be the most beautiful thing ever as with Isle Esme.
) And please, be tasteful with Bella's pregnancy. Thanks!

hahaha he is really getting into Twilight i think more than the oher directors LOVE him so far think he is going to make breaking dawn just what the fans are hoping for! Cannot wait to see Breaking Dawn! WAIT he needs to comment if there making 2 movies!!
I have a feeling that Breaking Dawn's gonna be amazing!
im sorry guys if dreamgirls is what he has going for him then he gona kill breaking dawn, hes has no clue how much is at stake with this last part in the franchise, he nos nothing on fantacy, he dose blumin musicals, this is gona be a huge mistake i can see it
tina, he doesn't do musicals all the time, the others (with nicole Kidman) and candyman 2 isn't musical at all!
Well, but it is a interesting choice in a director! I have to admit that!
nawwwwr he seeems cute x
i hope he does a really great job!!!
i honestly like the idea of making it rated R! yes those of you underagers couldnt go but why ruin what made that book so much better than the others in the first place. I am not asking for a porn scene for the honeymoon or a scene from nightmare on elm street type during bellas birth there is so much more that couldnt be in the movie if he didnt make it rated R i am just saying there are ways around it if he does! oh and alex a strike? strike from what??? sign a petition? really? dont think you would get much progress from either of those. Cant wait for Breaking dawn i REALLY hope he can make it work into 1 movie!
I agree with everyone he will do a great job if…. if he keeps it 2d and he does not make it rated R if he does then me and alot of people will like go o strike or sign a petition
Awww!! He's super cute! And he must know we'll all be burning red apples on his lawn if he screws up. (No pressure!)
j/k Bill! You're a brave soul for taking on this little project! Congrats and welcome to the insanity!
then again, team edward, the book itself does not show any description of what went down during Bella and Edward's wedding night. so making it rated R is pointless. and the birth? please, i've seen worse movies that show blood and gore and are only PG-13 (the same goes for the sex scenes). the twilight series were made for teens and even moms, not little twelve year old girls gaga over justin bieber, hannah montana, and the jobros. if they can't handle it, they shouldn't see it. but making it rated R is a joke, honestly.
I kinda agree. I'm not a little 12 year old, but you don't have to diss them. You were 12 once too.
I do agree with everything else you said about the ratings.

hmm interesting…
It sounds like he's going to do a great job, I can hardly wait! As for the rumor of them making it a rated R film, I don't believe it's true, bc Stephanie Meyer said that not one of the films would surpass a PG 13 rating. Though I strongly disagree with that. The book didn't hold anything back so I don't think the movie should either…

I hope he makes it better than the other films, they were alright but I found myself thinking "whats the point in Bella and Edward's relationship?" they never seem to have any fun and you can count the amount of times they smile on one hand. In the books they aren't constantly whispering intensely at each other, sometimes they chill out and enjoy each others company.
do you know?
sung il gook will come to iran soon!!!!!!!!!
