How to quote without a button

I see that a lot of people want to quote, but still a lot of people don't have the button back yet (no one's fault, I know), so here is how to do it manually if a) you wanted to know and b) you want to still use quoting.

There is a quote button up where the bold, italic and underline buttons are, and looks like this when you click it: [quote][/quote]
Copy and past the message you want to quote within it, and then add ="...", but instead of the '...', insert the username, for example, [quote="Jelly"][quote] with the message inside (but be sure to keep the '/' typing where needed!).

I think the people in the UK still have it, I know I still have mine... so I have no idea where it's gone for the rest of you... maybe they are on holiday in the UK
