MTV has interviewed Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) on the set of Twilight.
*Thanks to Kellie Bates and michelle for the tip!
MTV: We recently ran a story with Kristen Stewart talking about “Twilight.” The old record on the MTV Movies Blog was 600 comments; that story now has 1,600 comments!
Rachelle Lefevre: [She laughs.] I’ve noticed. Twilight’s got some avid — and rabid — fans.
MTV: And every other comment is: “OMG! Kristen is so beautiful!”
Lefevre: I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people [write] “OMG” in my life.
MTV: People are just now beginning to realize how big this “Twilight” thing is.
Lefevre: We are too.
MTV: So how did you become aware of it? When you first got the script, was it just another gig?
Lefevre: There were three things about it that made me want to go for the audition: The first one was that [director] Catherine Hardwicke was attached; the second was that the role was to play a vampire; and the third was that I could do an adaptation of a book that’s a trilogy, with the potential to explore a character, hopefully, over three films.
Taylor Lautner updates his myspace saying:
I am very very happy to announce that I will be working on the film called TWILIGHT. Many of you have been asking what role I will be playing. I think it would be best for me to wait for SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT to release the role first. I am hoping they will do so soon. Once they do then I can comment more. So please be patient…but I can’t wait. I am very excited to play this character in such an amazing book series by Stephanie Meyer.
On another topic…I just turned sixteen and got my drivers license..yayyyy!! Track just started so I have been running a lot.
I better go now but once Summit releases my role then I will comment more. I want to thank ALL of you for your support. Take care and hope you all become TWILIGHT fans.
**Thanks to multiple tips!
Lisa from TwilightMoms had a Q&A/chat with Ashley Greene. Thanks to Kathy from Twilightmoms.
1.) TM: Have you read the books?
Ashley: Yes of course I’ve read all three books! A few times actually. I finished
all three books, and become a fan before I was even cast!2.) TM: What do you do in Portland with your spare time? Do you need a local tour
guide? No charge. My number is (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Ha ha.Ashley: Time off. HA! No, um just trying to explore the city. It really is a
gorgeous place! I’ve decided I would like a house here. And thank you for the
offer, that’s incredibly sweet…. I might just take you up on the offer when I’m
here on my own time3.) TM: What is your favorite Alice moment in the books, if you have read them?
Ashley: Favorite Alice moment? Hmm…. there are a few but a moment that always
makes me smile is the whole yellow Porsche bit…. it shows a playful warm
connection between Edward and Alice
Creator.com has confirmed in a recent article that Billy Burke will be playing Charlie in the upcoming Twilight movie.
“I started off my career being the bad boyfriend running around with the gun, and now I’m officially old enough to play a 17-year-old’s father,” observes Billy Burke, recently seen in the thriller “Untraceable” — and now, just beginning work as Kristen Stewart’s pere in the adaptation of Stephenie Meyers’ young adult novel, “Twilight.” “It’s about a young girl who comes to live with her dad and falls for a vampire — sort of a vampire Romeo and Juliet.” At the helm is Catherine Hardwicke, “one of my favorite up-and-coming directors — who did ‘Thirteen’ and ‘Lords of Dogtown.’”
It can be found in the last section under “The Big Screen Scene”. *Thanks to multiple tips!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am in Oregon filming TWILIGHT, the highly anticipated film based on Stephenie Meyer’s NY Times best selling novel. Twilight is the first in a series. I highly recommend the book and I hope you will come check out the movie. The film is being directed by Catherine Hardwicke and comes out in December. I am playing Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the head of the Cullen Family, a coven a vampires living among humans in a small rural town, trying to fit in. Don’t worry, it’s not a gory vampire movie, but more of a beautiful love story set in a vampire tale. Let me know if you have any questions, and I’d be happy to answer them.Peter
Thanks to Kellie B!
