Daniel Cudmore Interview

Twilight Lexicon interviewed Daniel Cudmore, the actor who plays Felix in New Moon.

How would you characterize the New Moon audition process?
It was very unexpected for me. I had auditioned for one character and was called about a call-back for another character which somehow I had no idea about. Fortunately, I couldn’t make the call-back and had a chance to get it right and put it on tape. A week later I got the good news.

How did you and the other Volturi and Guard cast members build your character relationships?
Charlie Bewley and I met at a costume fitting and got together a few days later for a coffee to chat about New Moon We both have a very similar background and outlook on life so we got along right away, which helped with our characters since they’ve had quite a long working relationship and haven’t gotten sick of each other yet.

Holly Scoop Talks With New Moon Cast

We still have to wait a few months to catch more of Kristen and Rob’s on-screen chemistry, but in the meanwhile, here’s some scoop from the film’s stars on what we can expect from the upcoming thriller:

Michael Welch: “Well first of all it’s going to look different. It’s going to feel different and frankly I think it’s going to be better. With Twilight we didn’t really know, I mean you could never really know, with New Moon we knew so we all came in with a level of focus and commitment to just pleasing the fans …cause if you can keep the fans happy you’re going to be good. “

Christian Serratos:”I think everyone’s going to be very pleased, the film and the books and everything they just evolved it keeps getting better and better. I read the New Moon script already having read the book and I was still like ‘what’s going to happen next’. It’s the same as the book but imagine the book on acid.”

People.com: 5 Secrets of the ‘Twilight’ Cast

The Most Talked-About Relationship on Set Was … a Bromance
“Me and Mike [Welch] (Mike Newton in New Moon),” jokes Justin Chon, 28, who plays Bella’s pal Eric Yorkie. “Me and Mike had a bromance. We just loved to hang out together and talk about stupid things.”

The Cast Is Still Grounded
Twilight actors with big and small roles all hang together at least part of the time, and they shared a love of exploring the beauty of the locations in Canada and Italy.

“You would expect diva behavior from them since they’re so big now, but they’re really nice and down to earth,” says Wachsberger.

Fans Should Be Salivating for New Moon
“I think it’s going to be better than the first one,” says Chon. “I think [director] Chris Weitz is going to do a really good job with it. I was really impressed. I think it’s going to be amazing.”

Adds Wachsberger: “I can’t give away any spoilers, but expect the unexpected.”

‘Twilight’ Stars Reveal Key ‘New Moon’ Scenes

MTV interviewed the ‘Twilight’ cast on some of the scenes for ‘New Moon’

Speaking of favorite scenes, Greene also got to shoot hers — a high-octane moment where Alice Cullen steals a yellow Porsche in Italy. “It was really fun. I worked with a stuntman before actually driving it and learned how to do a bunch of unnecessary things that were fun, like fishtailing, and he was gonna teach me drifting,” Greene laughed. “I drove it in a scene and came about 2 inches from the wall!”

“I hate you,” a jealous Lutz joked.

“I know,” Greene said. “Oh, my gosh — everyone does right now!”

Michael Sheen on ‘New Moon’

Empire Online interviewed Michael on his character in the ‘Twilight’ sequel ‘New Moon’

In The Twilight Saga: New Moon, due out later this year, Michael Sheen takes the role of Aro, head vampire of an ancient coven that rules the vampire world. We talked to him recently, and asked for the lowdown on a bloodsucking role that’s a far cry from his recent run of real-life figures.

“I’m all done on it; I had a great time,” he told us. “It was nice to go in and not be playing the main part, just go in for a few days and play this really really extraordinary character. I remember I was thinking, ‘Oh, there’s a bit of a Child Catcher here [from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang]; bit of the Blue Meanie from The Yellow Submarine; bit of Olivier from Richard III. There was a bit of all kinds of stuff.”

He also talked about director Chris Weitz.

“It was great to work with Chris Weitz; it was a really funny set, really relaxed. We had a lot of things in common, and hopefully we’re going to work together again soon doing something. That might be the thing that I direct, I don’t know yet, you never know.”
