Why should i be the fan of the week for Twilighter? My Twilight Saga journey began in April, 2007. It was the day of the Junior High Dance tryouts and all my best friend would talk about was Edward Cullen. I looked at her and thought, “Since when does she get a boyfriend and not tell me?” But as she talked about him the word “sparkle”, and “blood” and “vampire” came into the conversatioin about once every sentence. As I looked around I noticed that every girl in the gym knew what she was talking about. So when it came time to ask a question about one another to get to know everyone, I stood up and said “Before I go crazy, can someone please tell me who Edward Cullen is?” I felt like i was the stupidist person. A gym full of aobut 40 girls stoped talking and stared at me for about a good 5 minutes. I was seriously scared. As i almost started to say something else, my best friend Oakley got up and made her way to her bag. She came back with a book. The title read “Twilight”. I read the back and said, “Can I borrow this?” She looked at me as if I just asked the best questin in the world. She let me and I read the first 4 chapters before dinner that night… I was hooked. I called her after dinner and we talked for hours. Over the next two weeks I finished the books and read all sorts of information on the web. Oakley and I had started a Twilight Saga group at our school and we have 27 members. I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE TWILIGHT!!!!!!:)

I had listened about Twilight for 3 or 4 months before Octuber 2008. It wasn’t something interesting for me, but my best friend had read the books and she bought Breaking Dawn when the last book was realased in octuber 26 in our country, I was with her this day and she convinced me to read the other books. Whe the film was in theatres, already I was crazy!!! The film was realased in Colombia in january 1/2009, we went to cinema 10 times for a month… Obviously, I read the books in Spanish and English 4 times each one. In July, a friend was in USA and she bought for us the Twilight’s special edition two DVDs and I saw the film again 20 times. In Facebook, the Colombians fans have a group about realased date to New Moon and we made that New Moon was released on the 27th of November and not in January 1/10 (it was the original date for our country). One month before, we had the tickets to premiere. I’m very crazy with this saga… I fall in love with all the history, characters, books, films, songs, and all the things about TWILIGHT!!!

For the last three years, I have been going through a divorce. I felt for a long time, that I was slipping further and further into depression. Raising two children has taken its toll on my love life. I don’t regret anything, even the bad. Because I have relized not long ago that the bad, as well as the good, are the elements that make me who I am today. Part of getting out of the ‘Self Loathing Stage’ I bought the entire Twilight Saga novels. It might sound a little crazy, but these books mean so much to me. For they are a essential in my self recovery. I have never read any book that has given me faith and self recognition. I have always been a sucker for the fantasy world, as I wished in so many ways, that people like the characters in Twilight are real. I like to believe that every women deserves to have there very own Edward Cullen… One day, I will find my one true ‘Soul Mate.’ Thank you to Stephenie Meyer for writing such a wonderful series.

Last year, my friends went to see Twilight at the cinema, but I couldn’t go because I was ill. When I get better, the film wasn’t in the cinema anymore, and, like my friends didn’t love it, I thought: “well, it doesn’t matter” so I lost interest and I forgot. A month later I was walking in the street with my friends when I saw a guy who was selling DVD’s there, and I saw that he had Twilight. I bought it, and, when I arrived home, I watched it. I was very, very fascinated, when my dad and my mom arrived home, I showed it to them. In fact, I saw it 4 times in the day. The following day was Wednesday (when I go to have lunch with my friends after school, like on Thursdays), and I asked my friends if they could go with me to a library so I could buy the book. My friends never see me more crazy about something, and me neither.

Well the thing is that I bought the first book, read it that night, in my bathroom, and while my family was sleeping. The next day, I went with my friends to buy New Moon, and on Friday (when I have already finished New Moon) I went back to the library with my mum and bought the other two books: Eclipse and Breaking Down. For Saturday, I had read the four books.

Since then, my friends gave me the special edition of two DVD’s ( the original) for my birthday, I have read the whole saga 8 times, watch Twilight one hundred times, downlowed all the songs it has to my computer, my cellphone and my MP4, saw New Moon, and can’t wait to see Eclipse and Breaking Down.

I never even knew the books existed until I saw the movie, and after watching it I feel in love. I am 29 years old and everyone makes fun of me because I am so obsessed I have posters, pillow cases, t-shirts, magazine articles. It really has nothing to do with age, its a love story that millions of girls can relate to. The story grabs you and it allows you into this world that is so majestic you just want to be there, you want to be bella. You want the story to be true, you want vampires to exist so you can have this man who is so powerful no one can harm you but ay the same time be so gentle with you. Stephanie meyer made millions of people happy when>he dreamed this story up so we could dream as well. I am a twilight fan because years down the road this will be a classic that will be watched over and over, that will be as good as the first time you watched it.

Why you? Let me start of by saying that NEW MOON WAS AWSOME!!!

*Ever since I’ve read the twilight series, half my life is talking, reading, breathing, and dreaming twilight.

*There’s not a day that I don’t read,see, or listen anything that is related to twilight.

*On my way to see New Moon I almost cried and had a panick attack because I though I was going to be late.

*My ipod is filled up with pictures from premieres, the movies, and the characters.

*My locker is filled up with twilight pictures

*I see “Twilight” every week and read the books all the time.

*Eveyday I try to convince those that are not into twilight.

Being named twilight fan of the week, will be better than scoring the game winning goal or getting an A+ in class. And my list will stop here, because I can jsut keep on talking about Twilight all day.

One day, me and my friend Sammie were waiting for my friend Libby to turn up at our ‘meeting point’ so we could all walk to school together. However, when Libby arrived, I soon realized why she was late. She had walked pretty much the whole way reading Twilight, and carried on reading Twilight until we got to school. I even told her if she didn’t stop, I would push her in front of a car and see if she noticed. Her reply? ‘I’m going to get you to read this, and you’ll become hooked, trust me.’ I just laughed and said ‘Yeah, right.’

So, Libby lent me Twilight, and that night, I decided to read it. The minute I read the prologue, I actually got hooked. I didn’t stop reading until I’d finished, and even sent Libby a text at midnight telling her I’d finished. So I read the rest of the series (borrowed from Libby and later on got the full set for Christmas), and when I found out the film version was coming out, I was really excited. =]

Well my obession with Twilight started when I tried to go view the movie Twilight in theaters 5 times. Every time I would go it was like something always happen the 1st time i tried to go i got a flat tire that was the day it was released in Movie theathers, the 2nd and 3rd time the tickets where sold out and the 4th & 5th i had no babysitter to watch my kids. so as usual i would get upset that i could’nt see the movie and so my husband finally came home and surpised me with the books, i read Twilight in a Day & Half ( only cause i still had to attend to my home husband & Children ) but after i would do what i had to do in a Hurry i would go back into the twilight world, it funny cause if someone even tryeed to talk to me or offer me food i would tell them to get out, i literally locked myslef in my bedroom for hours while my husband watch the kids reading twilight, after i finshed Twilght at 2am, i went on to reading Newmoon and i have never cried so much in a book, as the hours went on i got more and more into the books and i just could’nt put them down i ended up reading all 4 books in a matter of 4 1/2 days. These Books are the most addicting books ive ever read in my life. i Now send all my extra time on Twilight Fansites, Getting everything Twilight i can and seening my own personal copy of Twilight about 4 times a day.

I live in India. And I had no idea about Twilight, as in what it is and honestly i always hated reading books and thought they were just a waste of time. Twilight movies haven’t been and most probably not going to be released in India, so obviously I was unaware. One day, my friend came up and told me about this movie, And I was like okay. One day,I had nothing to do and i was sitting in the library and came across the magical Twilight. i decided to give a read because my friend had been all mad about it. As i began reading i just went on and on and on and didn’t realize it had been 5 hours in the Library. I finished the book and immediately bought New Moon. I went home and kept reading and reading in my room locked. I must have cried hours when Edward left and Mum thought I was under depression. I finished it in a day and went down and bought Eclipse. I started reading again, in the bathroom, even in the school hiding it away. My mid term was the next day but I had been so mad that i couldn’t just couldn’ t. I kept reading and toatlly was unprepared for my exam and nearly passed and throughout the term i was reading Breaking dawn. I havee seen the Movie atleast not less than 78 times on DVD since it did not release here and I have read the series at least 14 times. But I just keep reading it again and again coz I somehow feel so connected to bella and i don’t care if they don’t release the movies here, I will watch it I don’t know how, but I will. I lovee twilight and I hope one day I will find my Edward.

I think im one of the most obsessed twilighters going…

*The first time i saw the film i went back to see it again the same day, and the next, and practically lived there over the christmas holidays.

*I also started to replace school and work and even sleep with the books and read each one in just over a week.

*I have been grounded and my debit card taken off me for spending almost a hundred pound on twilight merch, and actually had tears in my eyes when a shop in town was full of new things.
