Kristen Stewart was not at the VMA’s tonight because she was at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her new film On The Road.
Entertainment Weekly’s Facebook page has posted a new picture of Bella and Renesmee from Breaking Dawn Part 2.
“See more of Kristen Stewart (Bella) and Mackenzie Foy (Renesmee) in our Fall Movie Preview issue on newsstands Friday!”
Vulture.com has learned that Kristen Stewart has just signed on to play the lead role in Lie Down In Darkness, an indie adaptation of William Styron’s 1951 novel with the same name.
Directed by Crazy Heart helmer Scott Cooper and set in genteel fifties Virginia, Lie Down will have Stewart play Peyton Loftis. As part of a dysfunctional and disintegrating family, Peyton is constantly compared to her crippled sister, Maudie, and her intense physical beauty makes her the object of her frigid mother’s jealous hatred and the target of her father’s incestuous, alcoholic lust.
Kristen Stewart has released an official statement regarding the pictures and cover story of US Weekly magazine:
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” Stewart said in a statement Wednesday.
SWATH director Rupert Sanders has also issued an apology on People.com

Kristen Stewart is the new face of Balenciaga Paris’ new women’s scent, Florabotanica, which is due out in September.
Kristen Stewart talks to WWD about being the face of the fragrance.
“On a base level, the reason you want to wear a fragrance is because you want to smell attractive,” said Stewart, sitting in a suite of Le Bristol hotel here, wearing a Balenciaga T-shirt, shorts and heels. “That in itself is a pretty mature idea, especially considering the teenager I was. I was never the one wearing my mom’s perfume and trying to be sexy. I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing the opposite of that.
“I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],” continued the 22-year-old. “And I’m a terrible liar.”

In an article posted on Forbes today we learn that Kristen Stewart is at the top of the highest paid actress list. Not only that, she is the youngest on the list by 16 years! Congratulations Kristen, I knew you were ballin’ but I didn’t realize it was like THAT.
At this point, could anyone else play Bella Swan in Twilight? Probably not; if the studio tried to switch in another actress, fans would revolt. So for the last two Twilight films, Stewart has been able to demand an estimated $12.5 million per film, plus a share of the profits.
