MTV: Robert Pattinson Rumors

MTV’s Larry Carroll has a new article on all the Robert Pattinson rumors that have been going on in the past few months!

Over the past 22 months or so, Robert Pattinson has rocketed from obscurity to omnipresence. He’s also dealt with a ton of ridiculous rumors. Now, hot on the heels of reports that RPattz was going to play Kurt Cobain in a feature film, we look back on the 10 dumbest (and utterly untrue) Robert Pattinson rumors:

Rob’s Nirvana?: The Sun is a British tabloid that seems to specialize in stories about how Megan Fox is going to play Catwoman. Their latest “scoop,” however, was a real doozy — Rob was in regular contact with Courtney Love and had landed the role of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in a biopic. The rumor got a bit of traction, particularly because of RPattz’s well-documented love of music, but ultimately the Sun story was dismissed by Love’s reps, leaving the tabloid to offer all apologies.

Rob Is a Pirate: Yo ho ho and a bottle of bull. That’s what rumors of RPattz playing Jack Sparrow’s brother in “Pirates of the Caribbean 4″ turned out to be, after reports had him battling Zac Efron and Russell Brand (!?) for the role. Somebody needs to make whoever started that rumor walk the plank.

MTV: Kristen thinks Rob has a strong performance in Remember Me

“I’ve seen the movie, I’m going to just say — I’m sure people will be like, ‘Oh my God [I'm so jealous!],” she laughed. “He’s really good in the movie.”

“It’s hard to talk about your friends — about anybody that’s close to you that you know,” she said of critiquing Rob’s performance. “It’s like, he’s everything I know he is. I know he can do any film.”

“Living is so wrapped up in who you are as an actor, not everybody can play every part,” she said, explaining that RPattz was well cast in the film. “He is really strong in the movie. Maybe people won’t really expect that — he’s quite bold, which is great.”

MTV: Kristen Stewart Says ‘Twilight’ Role Is Harder Than People Think

But when it comes to which role was tougher to play — her “Handkerchief” rebel Martine or “Twilight” icon Bella Swan — KStew and Cohn disagree.

“No, I would say definitely not,” Stewart insisted, claiming that Bella is the more complicated portrayal from an actor’s point of view. “It’s so hard to compare roles — this was difficult for other reasons. “It was so much smaller, it was so personal,” Kristen remembered of the “Handkerchief” shoot in New Orleans in 2007.

“Bella has definitely got more [complexity],” Stewart said of the iconic “Twilight” role that made her a household name. “Bella has more to do. [As an audience member], you’re with her for years of her life; you’re with this girl for two weeks — not even, a week.”

MTV: Kristen Stewart Compares ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ Role To ‘Twilight’

MTV taked to Kristen Stewart at Sundance and she compares her role on Welcome to the Rileys to he Twilight Saga films.

In an earlier interview with MTV News, the actress argued that even though the film presents her in a far different light than the “Twilight” films, fans of the vampire franchise will find much to connect with in “Rileys.”

“Most ‘Twilight’ fans are young girls, and this is a really, really good story for them,” she said. “It just sort of opens your eyes. You just don’t have any options.”

New Moon on MTV News Top 9 Of ’09

New Moon is #6 on MTV News Top 9 Of ’09

“New Moon”
It’s hard to put into words just how jacked up we were for the sequel to the first “Twilight” movie. We obsessed over the various trailers for the vampire-vs.-werewolf flick, dissected every frame, and asked Twi-Hards what they thought. We would not let it go when it came to searching for definitive proof that Robsten (stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) were indeed an item, and then we got all distracted by the many, many, many shirtless photos of new breakout hunk Taylor Lautner.

And that’s all before the movie actually hit screens in November and smashed records with a $142 million opening weekend. And, of course, we’re going to do it all over again this year in the ramp-up to “Eclipse.”

MTV interviewed Peter Facinelli at Z100′s Jingle Ball

MTV interviewed Peter Facinelli at Z100′s Jingle Ball about Breaking Dawn and more!

With “New Moon” being such an overwhelming success, there probably won’t be an issue getting another flick green-lit — but Facinelli insisted the cast is just really excited that “New Moon” was such a hit. “I haven’t heard or seen [a script yet]. I think everybody’s just kind of still on the ‘New Moon’ high,” he added. “And we’re gearing up for ‘Eclipse.’ I’m excited for ‘Eclipse.’ That’s my favorite book.”

So, if or when “Breaking Dawn” goes into production, Facinelli does know which scene he’s looking forward to shooting. “You know, there’s this scene where Bella has the baby,” he said, jokingly adding, “Like any other doctor, I’m not there at the time. I think I’m on the ninth playing a round of golf, but it’s an interesting scene. I’d like to see how that’s shot.”
