We caught up with Glambert yesterday at rehearsals for the American Idols Live Tour 2009 in Burbank, Calif., and that’s not all he dished on…

Rumor of the week: Adam will appear on Fox’s new musical show Glee. “That’s the first I’m hearing of it,” he tells us. “I love rumors. They’re really good these days, and they’re getting better.”

Next rumor to address is that that he’s going to contribute a song to the next movie in the Twilight franchise, New Moon. “That’s just another rumor. That would be really cool. I should [do it].” Hmmm. Hello New Moon music supervisor, are you reading this?

MTV has an article on Justin wanting to be on the ‘New Moon’ soundtrack. What do you think?

Long before rumors emerged that Kelly Clarkson may have a song on the “New Moon” soundtrack, fellow “American Idol” alum and “From Justin to Kelly” co-star Justin Guarini was launching a campaign to get his song “I Can’t Live” on the album for “Twilight” sequel.

Believe it or not, Guarini insists that he’s not just trying to bank on the success of the franchise. He says it’s because he’s a big “Twilight” fan. “I’m a fan of the books,” Guarini told MTV News. “At the time I went in to write this song, the two other writers were talking about the books, and we got into a conversation about it. As we were writing it, we thought, there’s a new movie coming out, and so why not give it a shot? And so, we sent it in.”

MTV wants to know who do you think should be on the ‘New Moon Soundtrack. Kelly Clarkson?

The question has been erupting all over the Web for the last few days, and we’ve just published an article that gets to the bottom of it: Will Kelly Clarkson be on the ‘New Moon’ soundtrack?

The answer is… well… maybe?

As we all remember from last year’s honest dialogue with Catherine Hardwicke, the soundtrack is one of the last things the “Twilight” directors are concerning themselves with. And after the smash sales of last year’s album featuring Paramore, Linkin Park, Perry Farrell and the rest, “New Moon” director Chris Weitz would be wise to take his time and make sure he brings the rock.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t try and influence the guy, right Twilighters? So what do you think? Have you heard Kelly Clarkson’s “Did You?” song? Is her squeaky-clean “American Idol” image a little too much for the “Twilight” fanbase, or do you guys consider yourselves fans?

EW talks with Paramore’s Hayley Williams about their new album, how they got on the Twilight soundtrack and more.

EW: Oh, really? I thought from what I’ve read that [Twilight author] Stephanie Meyer sought you guys out and wanted you specifically to be on the soundtrack. But it’s more like you auditioned?

HW: Well I read the books, and when they were working on the soundtrack, I was finishing up the third book, Eclipse, and I was really into it. I thought this was a great art, a really good story, and really relatable, but I’m always into vampires and all that. So we were touring and writing and jamming out new things every day, and I was like, if they’re putting that soundtrack together this could be great, let’s figure out if we could be a part of it. So yeah, we kinda fought for it. And if you look at the rest of the album, it’s Muse and Iron and Wine and Linkin Park, which really isn’t our demographic.

MTV has an article and video about Paramore’s campaign for Twilight to win Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards.

It’s no secret that the band — or, more specifically, frontwoman Hayley Williams — is an avowed “Twilight” nut. Since “Twilight” landed a whopping seven Movie Award noms, we figured it would be interesting to have them handicap the film’s chances in one of those categories: Best Kiss.

It’s a tight field, to be sure. Bella and Edward’s lip-lock faces stiff competition from the likes of Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy, Freida Pinto and Dev Patel and, uh, Paul Rudd and Thomas Lennon. Since the winner will be determined by you, Williams decided to get on the stump and state her case for why the star-crossed “Twilight” smooch deserves to win the Golden Popcorn.

I remembered the first day I’d come to Forks High School—how desperately I’d wished that I could turn gray, fade into the wet concrete of the sidewalk like an oversized chameleon. It seemed I was getting that wish answered, a year late. — Bella Swan, New Moon | Chapter 6
