Randy, a Vancouver Sun reporter covering the New Moon movie production, has a question to ask all Twilighters for his upcoming New Moon movie article in the paper and online:
“What is it about the story of New Moon that can make it a better film than Twilight?”
Answer in the comments below!
MTV has officially revealed the New Moon title and logo!
UPDATE: Discuss the new logo with other Twilighters in our message boards here!
Although the look of the new logo will undoubtedly get Twilighter tongues wagging, it’s the five-word official title that is the most prominent variation from Stephenie Meyer’s simple “New Moon.”
As for the logo itself, Weitz has chosen to stay with the lowercase lettering, personable font and light-streaks-poking-through look of last year’s hit film. In switching from blue to orange, the movie’s upcoming posters will be instantly distinguishable from those of the original “Twilight” – which should make them look a whole lot cooler when teenage girls all over the world add them to their walls. The presence of orange also begs a new question: Now that blue and orange are taken, which colors should be used for “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn”?
The View Point Inn, where the prom scene in Twilight was filmed has just been damaged by fire!
The historic building caught fire late Sunday night. Officials said the fire was in the walls of the inn and that the kitchen, basement and a second-floor room were damaged.
**Thanks to Jamie for the tip!
Lana Veenker the casting director of Twilight has a few words to say relating to any future casting of the Twilight series:
Until production gets underway and filming locations are confirmed, no auditions will be taking place anywhere, as the casting and extras casting directors haven’t even been hired. Open casting calls, if there are any, will be announced in the cities where they are taking place. Be patient, grasshoppers!
