Last Tuesday Summit announced the cities where cast & crew will be at for the ‘New Moon’ DVD release parties via @Twilight. Now the specific store locations are being announced! xD

@Twilight Tweeted some very exciting news today that cast members will be attending various New Moon DVD release parties this Friday!

MTV: Ashley Greene At DVD Release Party

MTV Movies Blog has an article about the DVD Release Party that Ashley Green attended in LA.

At 6:30, I eyeballed the crowd outside Hot Topic, already several hundred deep. When I found them (and my dependable cameraman Erick) after the movie at 9:00, they were twice as deep. As we went around grabbing fans for interviews, we discovered that word had gotten out: Apparently, some celebrity news show had posted on their website that Ashley Greene was going to be here tonight! Thanks to Twitter, Facebook and all the rest, the word was out.

As the Twilighters chanted down the minutes to midnight as if it were New Year’s Eve, Ashley appeared. They went nuts. She ducked inside the Hot Topic, jumped behind the counter, and started greeting the fans as they picked up their DVD. There were lots of hugs, shrieks, and tears of joy – but enough about me.

Sorry if I am interrupting anyone’s reading time, but I just have a few items:

If you missed Stephenie on CBS Sunday Morning, click here to read the story. Also, several people have asked about the sales of Breaking Dawn. Here is a quote from an article posted yesterday on USAToday.com: “The Hachette Book Group estimates 1.3 million copies were sold on Saturday after being released at 12:01 a.m. It was its largest first-day sales record. In anticipation of demand, an additional 500,000 copies were printed before publication, bringing the total to 3.7 million.” For those of us who have been fans of the Twilight Saga since the beginning, it is incredible to ponder how quickly the popularity has increased. I think it is awesome that so many people are now able to participate in the world of Twilight.

Anyway… a few people have sent me pictures from their Breaking Dawn Release Parties, and I decided that it was a pretty good idea to start a page similar to the Eclipse Prom page. So, send your favorite BD release party pictures to bdparties@gmail.com by about noon this Saturday (August 9th), and I will post a few of the best ones on the site for everyone to enjoy.

And, as many of you have requested, I have added the playlist.com player to the Breaking Dawn Playlist. Enjoy!

Mtv has an article about the release of BD. It has 3 different videos! ‘Twilight’ Mania Kicks Into Full Gear In NYC With The Release Of ‘Breaking Dawn’.

New Mtv Blog. ‘Breaking Dawn’ Midnight Madness Hits Bookstores Everywhere, and We Were There.
