Makeup411 has interviewed Jeanne Van Phue, the Twilight movie’s make-up artist, about the make up used on Rob and Kristen.
Director Catherine Hardwicke wanted the characters as close to the descriptions of author Stephenie Meyer as possible. This meant Kristen Stewart had to wear brown contact lenses every day to achieve “large chocolate brown eyes,” explained Van Phue.

This inspirtation for this shoot, which took place in a secluded area north of L.A. came from a romance-novel book jacket. says Riedel, “It’s a hero whisking his women in distress away. it was a moment of passion.” It was also a moment of slight filthiness for subject Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. “They were getting wet and standing in a pond. if they were divas, i don’t think we would’ve been able to pull that off”

I guess Robert’s personality. He looks like a brooding, good looking guy…he looks slightly intimidating! He’s a bit too good looking for regular life! His face looks like a sculpture. He’s actually really goofy! He’s so nice and he likes to joke around! He’s very approachable and down to earth! From afar, he doesn’t look like it but when you meet him, he’s so funny and great!
