Twilight Singapore’s Twilight Coverage in Tokyo, Day 1

Aishah and Maria from Twilight Singapore have some coverage of their first day in Tokyo where Rob and Taylor are to attend the Japanese premiere of Twilight.



We arrived yesterday at 5.30pm [Tokyo Time]. We were jet-lagged and tired. AND GUESS WHAT??!!!

We saw TAYLOR LAUTNER!!!! We were filling up our address for our stay in Tokyo and when we turned around, Maria thought the boy in front of us looked familiar. “Isn’t that Taylor?”, Maria asked. And for sure yes, it was definitely Mr. Lautner himself. He is tall and was wearing a black leather jacket with black jeans. He was much more fairer than we expected. His hair was like those pictures from VF.

On Feburary 27 Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are heading to Japan for a “Twilight” Japan Tour!

This is an official announcment of the “Twilight” Japan Tour with Robert
Pattinson ( “Edward”), Kristen Stewart (“Bella”)
and Taylor Lautner (“Jacob”)

We will be doing an event on February 27, which details are as follows

- Red Carpet

Time: 4:30pm
Place: Ebisu garden Place Chateau Plaza
* Anyone can come see the talents walk the red carpet!

Q: You tested out of high school early and are already taking college classes, but did you get to go to your prom?

A: I did! At my school, juniors and seniors both go to the prom. It was fun. I forget where we had it, it was somewhere in LA [Los Angeles] at some art museum. It was really a lot of fun. It was a long night. I think it finished like 12 or 1 in the morning.

Taylor Lautner keeps true to his workout routine as he heads off to the gym in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (January 22).

The 16-year-old Twilight star was spotted earlier this morning returning home after an early morning workout.

Taylor as Jacob Official Summit Press Release

Summit-Entertainment has posted the Taylor as Jacob official press release on their site:

“I’m very happy that Taylor will be playing Jacob Black in NEW MOON and that he’s doing so with the enthusiastic support of Summit, the producers and Stephenie Meyer,” said Weitz. “The characters in Stephenie’s books go through extraordinary changes of circumstance and also appearance; so it is not surprising that there has been speculation about whether the same actor would portray a character who changes in so many surprising ways throughout the series. But it was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part.”

“My experience on TWILIGHT was wonderful and I am looking forward to continuing on with the team for NEW MOON,” said Lautner. “I have been working hard preparing for the physicality that this role will require and can’t wait to get started with the filming of NEW MOON.”
