»Mtv has an article celebrating Harry Potter’s 10th ‘birthday.’ Rob, Kellan, and Jeremy Davis [Paramore] discuss the boy wizard.
Kellan Lutz (“Twilight”): “I love ‘Harry Potter.’ I actually wanted ‘Harry Potter’ as competition for ‘Twilight,’ because you’d be seeing the wizard side of fantasy and then jumping into the vampire life. Everyone I talk to is so obsessed with it. I always wished I had powers. I always wished I had a stick and a broom! It’s a great story. It’s so well-written. I think ‘Harry Potter’ hit everything. It set the precedent, that peak of Mount Everest, and we all want to climb that mountain. I just wish there were as many books to make movies of in ‘Twilight’ as there are in ‘Harry Potter.’ ”
Robert Pattinson (Cedric in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” Edward in “Twilight”): “Does it make me a traitor? ‘Harry Potter’ was what made me become an actor. I credit ‘Harry Potter’ with everything else that’s come since for me. I didn’t know what I was doing before that. I hadn’t read the books before doing the movie, so at first I read it just as an acting exercise. But I really enjoyed it! But I think Edward would kick Cedric’s ass, to be honest.”
Jeremy Davis (Paramore): “Hell, yeah, I love ‘Harry Potter’! I feel like ‘Harry Potter,’ the books and the movies, went above and beyond any other series. It would be a tough series to compete with. I would hate to try to compete against it.”
»Hey! Insomnia discusses the differences between Normal Guys and Edward.
A normal guy would pick a random song from a random artist and dedicate it to you.
Edward Cullen would sing you a song he wrote for you while playing the piano.
»Vampires and Slayers has a second audio interview [scroll down] with Stephenie Meyer and Catherine Hardwicke.
Previously Vampires & Slayers had presented an audio interview with author Stephenie Meyer and director Catherine Hardwicke regarding the film version of Twilight, which was recorded at the San Diego Comic Con back in July. Now we’re posting a different interview with the duo that was conducted on the same day.

My name is Jenny. I work in the music industry for an amazing music management company. I started reading the Twilight Saga books in July after my two friends, Robyn and Cheryl, begged me to read the books. The book was so interesting, I couldn’t put it down. Other than reading, I enjoy going to concerts, hanging out with my friends, traveling to exotic places and living life to the fullest.
The AIDS Walk LA is an annual event sponsored by The Hilton Family. It benefits APLA and other AIDS organizations in the LA area. The walk will take place on Sunday, October 19. It starts at 8:30 AM and will begin and end in West Hollywood Park. The walk is 6.2 miles and will take approximately 2-3 hours. Participants do not need to raise money, but it is recommended. It is just a wonderful day to spend with family and friends in support of such a wonderful cause. If you would like more info, please visit the official website:
http://www. aidswalk. net/losangeles/
If you are interested in participating on my team, please email Gretchen at gretchen@twilighters.org and she will get you in contact with me.
Please let me know if you can help out!

9/11 |

I just want to take a moment to recognize today’s date.
Seven years ago, the Twin Towers in New York City were destroyed by terrorists. Thousands of lives were lost, and only a few were saved from the rubble.
We remember this day each year to honor the people who died in this horrific event: men, women, workers, firefighters and police alike.
9/11 is a tragedy that will forever be remembered by people all over the globe, and it’s victims, forever in their hearts.

Twilighters For Forks! |

In honor of Bella’s birthday coming up, it’s time for us to reveal a gift we have been working on for a few months now. It is with great pleasure and excitement that we can announce the formation of Twilighters For Forks, a non-profit organization set up to help benefit the city of Forks, specifically The Forks High School.
While visiting Forks for the first time this last summer, Pel and I both commented on how the words “small town” just didn’t do the city justice. Being from relatively big cities, we enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the area was, but we were concerned with the economy of the area. As we took pictures of the landscape and various “Twilight” locations we both thought that if there was any way to help the small town of Forks that we wanted in on it. We started brainstorming what could be done and wondered if the city had a means to take monetary donations over the internet. We thought that if we could place a link on the Lexicon, we’d be able to reach thousands of Twilight fans.
Later that day, we were talking to the amazing ladies who run Infinite Jewlery CO., which manufactures Bella’s Bracelet™ and Bella’s Engagement Ring™, who were also visiting Forks. They informed us that the Forks High School had been condemned and was in danger of being knocked down. They expressed their desire to do something to help the city, and we said that we had the same desire. We all knew that if the fans understood what was happening in Forks they would want to help out, too. Through the Affiliations that Infinite Jewlery Co. had made in the city and with the backing of the Lexicon, we went to various city officials asking them for a way for fans to donate to the city. Thus, Twilighters For Forks was formed!
Now is a chance for all of us who have escaped to Forks so many times while reading these books to give something back to show our gratitude. Just think of what a $2.00 donation from each fan could do for the city of Forks. Visit the Forks Forum website for all the details on the school and the purpose of Twilighters for Forks and the chance to help donate to this very valuable cause.
