I didn’t discover the Twilight books until June of 2009. My Mom was having brain surgery & I had bought the first book just for a distraction. I was hooked immediately. As soon as I finished the 1st one, I ran out & bought the remaining books. I had them read in 5 days. I fell in love with them from the beginning. Now I am totally consumed by all things Twilight now. My husband thinks that I am crazy, but it is a beautiful story of love. When I first finished the books, they were in my dreams. I have read all the books 3 times. I’ve seen the movie about 30 times. When I wake every morning, the 1st thing I do is check my Twilighters e-mail. I can say for certain that these books have changed my life. I didn’t think that anything would peak my interest after the Harry Potter series ended. I was wrong. I’m so glad that I discovered the Twilight saga. It took me to another place & help distract me while my Mom was in surgery. Stephenie Meyer is wonderful. I really hope that she continues with more Twilight books. I wish that they would never end.

I never really understood why everyone was reading Twilight I thought it was just some stupid romance, and I regret that ever so much now. One day I went shopping and my older sister bought the book so im like ” ok I’ll also read it and check it out”. When I finally started reading it im like”this isnt interesting”and I stoped at PAGE 8!! After a 1 or 2 weeks I saw the movie and im like :O OH MY GOD. I fell madly in love with it, I was dieing to read New Moon. When I finally got New Moon, 24/7 reading, all the time i had the book with me, at breakfast, at lunch, at dinner, even late at night when everyone was sleeping and early in the morning and if I leave the house the book comes along. It only took me 1 week to finish New Moon, then i got eclipse and the same thing for New Moon applied: comes with me everywhere, and it only took 1 week and a few days to finish it, and the day I finished Eclipse, I got Breaking Dawn. When my mom bought the book and came home, I was jumping for joy, knowing that it gets extra interesting, right when I got the book I ran to my room and started reading it, and couldnt stop. For New Moon and Eclipse the same rules applied but for Breaking Dawn it was differnt i’d read in the night when everyones asleep until 6:ooam. I’d skip breakfast and read, i’d read all the time and if I take breaks without the book the break would only take 10 mins, even if I had to use the washroom or take a shower. In the end I finished Breaking Dawn in 1 week. Then I wanted to read Twilight since i didnt finish it soo I did, and it was better than the movie and I finished it in around 5 days. In the end when i told my mom I read all the books she was really proud of me, but then I started reading the saga again and I thought my parents were ok with that, but they weren’t. When I was rereading New Moon again my dad finally saw me reading it again and hes like didnt you already read that!!! why are you reading it again!!?? Are you crazy!!!??? I would’ve said yes cause I knew I was, but I was afraid to admit it so im like no. And my dad went and told my mom and my mom came to talk to me after work, she said im not supposed to read books over and over again and told me to get other books, and she finally said I dont and you’re dad dont want to see you reading those books ever again. And I was afraid to say no, so I said ok. But I still do read them seceretly and im saving up money to go see New Moon in theatres, and to buy posters and t-shirts and merchandises: all the things that my parents think is a waste of money.

So here I am banned from doing something I love A.K.A: Reading the twilight saga. But still seceretly am.I am an obsessed twilight fan and I am proud of that, and if someone has a problem with that A.K.A: My family and friends, well they just have to suck it up and deal with it themselves, I AM A TWILIGHTER!!!!!:D

I got to know about Twilight from my co-worker. She’s a big reader and started telling me about this book and got me interested in it. I am not a reader, but the way she describe the story, had me think and got me interested. So i decided to start reading the book and i instantly fell in love with it. From there i couldn’t stop reading and i wanted to know what would happen next and by the time i realized i have finished reading the whole saga. When i heard that there was a movie coming out, i got so excited that i started looking for trailers and i fell more in love with it!! Now i can’t wait for NEW MOON!! It is so exciting!!!Thank goodness for Stephanie Meyer!!

Those are the first books that i have ever read and because of those books, i started reading and i even got my mother into the whole saga and now she into that book more than me. I can’t even count the amount of times that she has read the books. Those are the coolest book ever!! I just hope Stephanie will some day decide to finally publish MIDNIGHT SUN

Ever since i found out about Twilight i have never missed an update;got pictures, the movie and even the board game. I have never liked a movie so much as Twilight and it’s my all time favorite. Twilight is my number one fav movie of all time!!

I didn’t catch on right away, I tried reading Twilight earleiar and I got bored so I didn’t finish it. But then I started seeing trailers for the movie and I was like “that looks really good I need to read the book.” I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie but it was always checked out at the library. I was staying with my aunt for Thanksgiving when my cousin and his girlfriend asked me which movie I’d rather see,Twilight or Bolt, immediatley I said Twilight-I was the deciding factor-anyways after the movie I was on the computer searching everything twilight, annoyed my cousin to no end. after that I finally got my hands on the book and I read them faster than Ive ever read before I was addicted. Ican’t go a day without thinking about twilight and somehow just about everything I hear I can realate back to Twilight, I’ve also have been annoying my mom since Novemrber about it. Ive read the books six times and for some reason the sixth was way more emotionall than the others-with new moon I was always sad but didn’t cry, 6th read I cried, and I have never been able to absoulutly love jacob but I don’t hate him either. the 6th read-I cried when he left at the end of eclipse. If anything my love for twilight is becoming stronger and stronger.

By now I have read each and every one of them countless times and driven everyone around me insane. Whenever I’m driving, I’ll see street signs that somehow I relate to Twilight.? Twilight is my favorite movie, and New Moon will be my new favorite movie once it comes out. I already know.

Name: Johanne K Ilje
Age: 18
Country: Norway
Twilighter since?	January 2009

The 17th of January, I was visiting a very good friend of mine, and I saw four black books standing upright on her desk. I asked her what it was about, and she told me about a wonderful world full of mythical creatures and enthralling love. I was instantly intrigued and asked her to lend me the books. And so it was done. I was addicted.

– I read the whole saga in under a week, and during that week it was ALL I could think of (now I can think of other things as well).

– I have seen the movie alarmingly many times, and have actually watched the movie 3 times during 24 hours.

– I have lost count on how many times I have read the Twilight saga, but I know it’s more than 8.

— Since January there hasn’t been 3 days without me reading one of Stephenie’s books (the only time I didn’t read the Twilight-series was that one time when I read the Host).

– I adopt Bella’s state of mind in real life when reading the books (for example, during the time I’m reading New Moon, my friends will notice me being down and almost zombie-like).

– After reading New Moon for the second time, I spontaneously started crying in public just by thinking of the book (and, yes, that was extremely embarrassing).

– My heart skips a beat every time I hear that one of my friends has started reading Twilight. The books are so amazingly extraordinary and captivating, and I am SO happy when others get to experience it as well.

– Once, a non-twilighter friend on mine made the mistake (or the very fortunate decision, on my behalf) of asking me what Twilight was all about, and I couldn’t stop talking.

– The first thing I do when turning on my computer is checking Twilighters.org for news, and I do it EVERY day, NO exceptions.

– I have learned the notes to Yiruma’s River Flows in You (aka Bella’s Lullaby) and Carter Burwell’s Bella’s Lullaby by heart, and can play them both on the piano.

– I have written a song inspired by and dedicated to Twilight titled Fly.

– I am going to Italy this summer and have persuaded my father to visit Volterra (even though it’s no close to where we’re going). Yay, I’m going to Volterra !

Name: Clare
Age: 13
Country: England
Twilighter since? January 10, 2009

I only knew about Twillight because of the movies. After seeing the movie four times at the cinema, I started reading the books. I got so engrossed in the books. It felt like I was there, in Forks, watching Edward glare at Bella. In the biology classroom watching them do the experiment quickly. At the meadow, watching Edward try and control himself when they first kissed. At the Cullen’s home, watching their slightly awkward meeting. It felt like the Twilight world had wrapped itself around me. I read Twilight in a day. And New Moon in a day. And Eclipse in a day. And Breaking Dawn in a day. When I was reading the books, no one could take me out of the Twilight world. I didn’t eat tea the days I was reading the books. I even skip it when I am reading the series now (for the 11th time). I truly love Twilight and spend most of my day on fansites, buying merchandise, reading and writing fanfiction, chatting with other Twilighters. I have been obsessed for 5 months now. Two thirds of my class are now hooked on the Twilight Saga, thanks to me. I go on daily rounds around the class and see which bit everyone is up to. They all know to come to me about anything Twilight. I got an afterschool detention for talking about Twilight. Then I got antoher one when he said write 5 questions you would ask in an interview to any famous person (We were doing careers) and I did Robert Pattinson, and asked him Boxers or Briefs? Sir didn’t find it funny so I spent and hour writing lines ‘I will not do anything Twilight related or rude in class’. It wasn’t a good hour. I have convinced my English, History and H.E teacher to read them and now they are hooked and keep asking me what happens in Breaking Dawn. I won’t tell them. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, which is what someone did to me the second time I went to see the movie. I was really annoyed at her. I also know a boy called Jacob in my D.T class who is really shy. I have taught him so when I ask his last name, he says ‘Black’. When I ask his best friend, he says ‘Bella’. When I say Who do you fall in love with, he says ‘Renesmee’. I think it’s quite funny. But this is all why I think I should be fan of the week, because my life is Twilight. And that is how I like it.

I never really was interested in the Twilight series, after reading the first chapter of Twilight I got really bored of it (yea it sounds bad). But when I found out that it was becoming a movie series I was very interested but not interested to read the books just yet. I first watched the movie Twilight and fell in love with the movie, but soon after I heard a lot of my friends say that the movie was all wrong from the book. It made me really curious about what they were all talking about, so I gave in to my curiousity and read the book. And guess what happened…..I fell hard in love with the book more than the movie I watched. I couldnt put the book down and I kept on reading and reading and soon after about five days I was done with book number one. The fobidden love made me want to find a guy like Edward Cullen, the fact that vampires were part of the stories made me wonder about the world today and all the legends that actually might be true. What made me really fall in love with the book was the main characters, Edward and Bella, how love can be shown in ways that leave other people in awe. I soon found myself wanting, no, craving to read more about their love and adventures. I finaly got my hands around the second book, New Moon, and saw that i was both mad and shocked that Edward left Bella, but every touched that Jacob could hold Bella together. The Volturi at the end of the book made me very scared that Edward would go to such lengths to kill himself. Each book took me less than a week to read and by the end of December I saw that I finished the whole series. I begged my parents to get the books for me and now I have all of them, reading each book three or four more times (I dont know I lost count). I even read Midnight Sun the same amount of times, oh how I wish Stephenie Meyer would finish it and publish it. How she wrote everything from Edwards point of view cleared up many things from the book Twilight, how he saw Bella, how he felt about her, and how long hes been so lonely until he found her. I feel that out of everyone I know here, I am the biggest Twilight series fan out there. I have twilight on my walls and on my desktop, and I watch the DVD often. I just adore the Twilight series and all the love and family and danger and drama in the books and movies coming. My favorite book of all is Breaking Dawn where we finally see Bella’s new life come fourth and see that she shines like the brightest star as a vampire, no, as a Cullen. Being a Twilight fan doesnt mean that you know everything about the books and movies, its how you see each character the way Stephenie wants you to see them, how you can relate to a different character, how you can feel the way they feel. This is how I feel a true fan is and I could say I am a true fan, but thats only what I think.

But the fact is that ever since I cracked the book and read “My mother drove me to the airport…” I’ve been a changed person. I have a total of 7 posters, changed my room around twice to accommodate the New Moon ones that are coming out, because who needs a bed when you could stare at the Cullens? I have about every bit of merchandise they make. I cried when I had to loan out New Moon. Bottom line, Twilight, you are my life now. : )

My friend told me in gym class to read a book called ‘Twilight’ (which she conveneintly had in her jacket for me to look at) and I read the summary and fell in love with it. As soon as she told me it was about vampires and loving a human, I yelled,”Gimme, gimme, gimme, I love it already!!” Another classmate told me that there was a movie that was in theaters, so we decided to go on 6 December 2008,we went to see the movie and after that, I told my friend, that I didn’t care if she was borrowing ‘Twilight’ to hand it over and nobody will die that day. I read ‘Twilight’ and then when it was time for winter break, I wouldn’t give it back to my friend until I had a copy of my own. I eventually gave it back and then went to the bookstore and got ‘New Moon’.
My mom wouldn’t help me get the rest of the saga after that unless she got to read it herself. I told her to start with ‘Twilight’ and she actually read it. After that, me and my mom have killed each other over the books just so we can read them, I finished in January, but would love to read the saga again soon. Also, now all me and my mom talk about is ‘Twilight’.
